I can sing originals or covers - even write a song just for your event! Here's a little about me:
With a voice that holds strength beyond her years, it’s no wonder New York City based Ashley Xtina has already been compared to greats like Adele, Joss Stone, and Kelly Clarkson.
At just 23 years old, already she’s seen an honorable mention in the American Songwriter Magazine March/April 2014l lyric contest, and since moving to Portland in summer 2015 has been writing songs for local artists, and was featured in PDX’s Music Magazine Vortex (read here: (link hidden) )
and has developed a following in the open mic scene.

A professional performance by an experience singer/songwriter. Each performance is tailored to suit the client's needs - ex: if you're hiring me to sing at a wedding, I could write a song for you and your partner! Or if you're hiring me for a lounge event, I can sing covers that everyone will recognize and sing along to!

Less than a year after her solo debut “Stability” was released, and her all female rock band Queen of Wands parted ways, Ashley is already working on her follow up album. "My music is the way I stay true to myself,” she says. “Every time I write a song I realize things about myself or the situation I'm going through, and every time I
perform my songs, I feel those same emotions I felt as I was writing them. I call that 'honest' music. That's what keeps me writing and really just keeps me alive."
Her new album”Moonstone” will see a shift in focus as Ashley incorporates the soulful blend of “Stability” with the upbeat tempo, instrumentation, and gritty rock edge that fans of Queen of Wands came to love.
“Both of these genres (pop/soul and rock) have been a huge part of my life,” explains Ashley, “and I think the truest expression of myself as a person and artist will come out in combining both of them.”
In July 2015 Ashley Xtina moved across the country to Portland, Oregon to find inspiration, collaborate and perform on the west coast. She wrote her newest single “Streetcar” as a farewell to her past in NYC and a hello to the city of roses. You can listen to the single here: (link hidden).
I back myself up on my keyboard - would love it if there was one provided or a piano but if not I could bring my own. I don't own a microphone/speaker so that would have to be available for me to use as well.
