Treating Sleight of Hand as an Art and Psychology as a Sport, Austin has reinvented the "magician" persona.
If you knew it was sleight of hand, is it still amazing?
I don't claim to have any mystic powers during my close-up shows, and I don't think it takes anything away from what I do.
Larger crowd shows (30, 45, and 60 min) mixes my background in magic, Psychology, and Communication to play with human behavior, influence, and some abilities you didn't know you had.
PUBLIC SHOWS : TBA, (There's a magic show Second Monday each month at Bites of Bangkok on 15th in Capitol Hill - Please check to see if I'm featuring.)
Prices are all event-specific. Please contact for information.
Austin fields magic did a wonderful job at our event.
He brought some great energy to the night with his great magic tricks and his ability to engage guests. It was my pleasure to have him at the event and I look forward to working with him again.
I found Austin within about a week of our event. We have a bit of a tough crowd, lots of manufacturing folks who in general love to have a good time, but need a little help getting there. Austin jumped right in and entertained upwards of 700+ people throughout the four hour event roaming the space and approaching people. I saw a lot of folks having so much fun and have received nothing but great feedback. Austin was very flexible and willing to work an event that was a bit different. Fair price for wonderful service. We would definitely invite Austin back!
Austin's closeup work was amazing and his feats of mentalism were jaw dropping and cheer provoking. Great communication pre-performance and perfectly on time. He was also just a great person to meet!
I reached out to Austin to say we were planning an unusual event at my company. In our event:
-Everyone (150 of our consultants all over the world) would be joining virtually via their laptops
-We would want a magician who would perform on camera and interact with virtual assistants
-It would be a 1/2 hours work at most
-We had to do a few technical run-throughs because... this was the very first time we have done such an event.
You would not believe how much fun we actually had! Our employees were impressed and excited and really enjoyed his full act. He was so thoughtful around engaging everyone - assistants in person, on the camera, etc and planning what would work best for the screen. And we *so* appreciated his flexibility as we innovated our remote-inclusive practices. Incredibly thankful we connected with Austin. Our event was just so elevated by his work. Such a professional!
Austin was the perfect fit for our small event, easy to connect with and relate to the party attendees. It gave interested magician history along the way, everyone had a good time.
We hired Austin for two different events. One event in early April, and one event this past September. Not only were the shows insanely creative and awesome, but they were two completely different shows! Instead of giving us some generic magic show, Austin surprised us with different tricks that shocked our entire party. His personality alone was what drew us into picking him as our entertainer, but once you see his skill level, you will NOT be disappointed.
There has always been the line, "You get what you pay for.", and with Austin, you definitely get what you pay for. Awesome young man with a tenacious attitude and a business orientated mind.
Would hire again, A+.

Please read Bio information for a very brief overview.
The fact is, I literally do everything I can to provide a client with a unique and customized experience. I have, on several occasions, created tricks specifically for the event that I've never performed again. I feel like it's my job to customize everything that I can about the gig, and make absolutely sure I fulfill what the clients requirements are.
The three shows I offer are;
Close up (Sleight of hand):
Magic that is performed at events where there is no stage and lots of people. I normally perform this at house parties, because it's simply the best way to unite your guests, and give them something to talk about. Depending on the environment and guests the magic is usually performed with cards, coins and borrowed objects. This style of visual magic can even be performed in environments that are too loud to speak in, such as a night club.
Close up (Mentalism):
Mentalism is a fancy word for sleight of mind based magic. My mentalism is based in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication theory, that I use to entertain and have some very unique experiences with people. The downside to this style of magic is that it requires a lot of focus and attention from it's audience. Thus, this type of magic is suited for dinner part
I also teach workshops and present on either; "Psychology of Deception: identification and defense" and how to improve Communication skills. Both individually and for workshops.
I've always wanted to be an entertainer because I've always loved to make people smile and laugh. I studied and wrote stand-up comedy, studied acting and theater, and performed lots of improv comedy for several years before I became a magician.
I am a college student pursuing dual degrees; Psychology and Interpersonal Communication. I'm frequently asked in as a guest speaker and interactive presenter for the underclassmen to demonstrate applied psychology. I've designed specialty presentations on the education and prevention of scams and scam artistry. I think there is a lot of value in using magic as a teaching tool.
The type of magic I design and perform has to fit the venue. Some venues and audiences are ready for something with a lot of depth and breadth, and I have several "magic tricks" I feel I've turned into very interesting "magic pieces". Many venues call for material that brings people together, and my job is to get the ball rolling and give people something fun to experience and talk about.
I design, script and create magic specific to the client - no two shows are the same. Also, you won't see other magicians do the same things I do; I spent four years (before becoming a professional) designing magic and consulting for other magicians, and I still do.
Magic should ALWAYS be fun to watch and a unique experience, and I promise to always uphold that belief.
If you're interested in booking me as a speaker/presenter, or you would like help with public speaking or improving communication skills - those services are available upon request.
Thanks for reading!
