Awareness / Response to Active Shooters

This class is a 3 hour power-point presentation. The course is casual and questions are welcomed.
There are numerous photos and videos, which help keep everyone engaged. I teach this mostly to civilians so none of the photos or videos are graphic.
A handout is provided to make it easy for students to follow along and take notes.
I have had many students tell me they were worried about having to sit through a 3 hour power point presentation. Afterward, they all tell me they would love to have more.

I have been a Police Officer for over 28 years. I have spent the last 20 of those years in our training division. I was the lead firearms trainer for my Police Department for 15 years. Some of my background includes:
Gang Detective for 9 years
SWAT Team member for 7 years
FBI Task Force member for 3 years, working violent street gangs and counter terrorism
I developed this awareness course over 10 years ago to provide survival training for people who may find themselves in violent encounters, such as an active shooter event. I want to show people how they can have significant control over the safety and security of their own lives as well as the lives of their families, friends, co-workers or even strangers.
This class is primarily about awareness and having the proper mindset for survival.

This is a power point presentation. I need a room with a screen and projector with sound. I Usually use my own laptop, but can also use computers provided by the client. For large conference rooms and auditoriums a microphone and speakers will need to be provided.
