Aysia captivates guests with charming, and always family rated performance and instructional group workshops/classes and private lessons in the ancient and elegant art form of Belly Dance, or Latin Dance. Audience participation and/or lessons can be added to any performance hire. Performance sets are usually, but not limited to, 15-45 minutes. Instruction is both empowering and enriching, while shimmying your way to fun with expressive, effortless grace!

Aysia has performed in the Champaign, Il area since 2005, and personally premiered on TV through WCIA Channel 3, and Channel UI7. She continues to teach weekly Latin and Eastern dance classes at the Community College, Cultural and Recreation Centers in the Champaign, Illinois area.

Asyia fell in love with belly dancing in 2002, in addition to her previous love affair with Latin dance! She has taught more than 7000 classes since 2001, in fitness and both Latin and Middle Eastern dance. She has created lovely choreography's, and enjoys improvisational dancing as well. She continuously training with specialty instructors, increasing skills and adding a variety of Belly dance styles to her repertoire and new dimensions within her dance.

Aysia created Classy Combination Dance Troupe in 2010, consisting of her most beloved, high spirited and talented students, now seasoned performers that delight audiences of all kinds. Aysia has deep gratitude to her numerous teachers, Susie Romans at the University of Illinois, Kahlira, Aliyah Abir, and Benazier, for having shared their lovely styles of fusion Belly dancing. She's also studied with Sonya of Chicago, as well as Katya and Tomika Thomas, both of Indianapolis. Aysia feels quite fortunate to have also studied with the very famous Ashley Lopez, currently touring world-wide.
