As he states in the title of his book, lIfe is indeed grand, baby when you have the blessing of hearing Paul play for you. He made that Steinway live like never before and our group loved the interactive evening of fun and good feelings. Bravo and our highest recommendation to book Paul Toshner for you and your event.
Response from Baby Tosh:
Thank you Rich, it was a treat indeed, the piano was quite something as were the guests - especially that girl who could really sing.
Thanks again for the review, and good luck for Saturdays game.
As an agent I have booked Paul into many assisted living facility gigs. He has a wide repertoire, an excellent singing voice and is funny to boot! His looping piano playing is exceptional and his music and style is perfect for the 50+ crowd. Everyone will enjoy him.
He also knows a lot about performing, and has just written a book on the subject, to see reviews: type "Toshner" into Amazom
As a guitarist I have worked live with Paul many times, he engages with audiences of all ages, is a master at piano looping. He plays a lot of Billy Joel, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra and my favourite; his own songs.
He has a page of reviews on his web site from many of the gigs we have done.
Price Range: $1000 and up.
Gig Length: 60 - 180 minutes

"To me its real value lies in the understanding that a great live performer - whether of music or dramatic reading or giving a speech - finds ways large and small to connect with the audience. It is full of tidbits that help make that possible. I am a frequent public speaker and found this book a reminder of things I thought I knew, as well as a source of new ideas and inspiration in how I can do a better job. Highly recommended!”
