This group of highly experienced James Madison University School of Music graduates are a versatile Jazz Combo that can cover arrangements from Charlie Parker to Stevie Wonder to Daft Punk and everything in between. Their music covers a broad spectrum of sounds focused on sophisticated harmonic language and toe-tapping grooves. Bad Luck Collective can adapt to almost any environment from cocktail receptions, to house shows, to jazz clubs and bars. Depending on the event, Bad Luck Collective can perform as a trio (Trumpet, Guitar, Acoustic Bass), as a quintet (Trumpet, Saxophone, Guitar, Bass, and Drums), or even feature a vocalist.
The trio was fantastic for our event. Sounded great and a perfect accompaniment to the event. Our customers were very complimentary!
