My friends 60th birthday was a dream of a lifetime for her.
Hugh was delightful and kind and the music was beautiful

Would highly recommend Bagpiping for All Occasions. Our occasion was a 90th birthday party for my dad who is Scottish. Hugh was talented and friendly. He answered questions that some of the guests had in between songs and they really appreciated the exchanges. My dad was very touched.

Made the event something to remember.

We had a wonderful experience. Hugh was perfect.
More than on time, he came early to check out his surroundings. He was well organized. He was friendly and most of all he was professional.
He played everything we asked him to play and added some special touches of his own.
We couldn't have asked for better.

He was prompt with his correspondence and we went over the details of what my expectations were for him.
High showed up early and was friendly and professional. He played flawlessly and did not miss a second or chord throughout our carriage arrivals and wedding March song into the church.

Hugh was already there tuning up and did a fantastic job for my parents funeral. He played a requested song I asked very well even though it was not part of his repertoire along with another tune. Hugh & Owen were great! Hugh was always reachable, and provided some good insight on how he suggested things should proceed, advice im which I took.

He was ahead of schedule and organized. We had also asked Hugh if he knew a drummer that could join him on our wedding day. He said he had a young man that played in his band and that he could join. Owen, the drummer, was also very good and added that extra layer that we were hoping for.

I would highly recommend Hugh & Owen! Be sure to ask for his YOUTUBE channel as he has a bunch of videos there that showcase his range and level of talent! He’s a true professional!

Hugh Metcalfe was great bagpiper at my Mum's funeral.
From initial contact to his arrival on September 24th, Hugh was amazing - in communicating, changing up the playlist, and being cooperative on the day of the event. Would highly recommend Hugh to anyone.
And the GigSalad talent booking process was one of the best I've experienced over the last decade.

I am so glad that I engaged Hugh to be the piper at our wedding celebration. He was very responsive to all my questions, came on time to our site visit and even adapted the song I wanted for my processional (The Miracle of Love by The Eurythmics) to the the pipes.
He arrived ahead of time on our special day and just started playing to welcome our guests. I am a huge bagpipe fan and it made the day so special to have them as part of our celebration.

We had Hugh come and play a few songs for our last minute micro wedding and he was fantastic! During the planning, he was so easy to reach to discuss song selections and on the actual wedding day he arrived exactly on time. He also drove quite a distance to play for us. The three songs he played during our processional and ceremony were so well done and beautifully performed. I received so many compliments about the bagpiper from our guests, they loved it! Hugh was perfect. His timing was excellent and he added a third piece at the end, as we walked from the graveyard to the car. The image of a bagpiper standing under the trees, in the rain, is one I will never forget. My father would have wanted it just so.

Hired for a personal concert for my elderly mother. She had a great time and so did I. He even marched for my mom which she really enjoyed.
