Whether you're looking for a chills-enducing ballad or a fun, energizing song to get everyone dancing and singing along, Ben can vocally deliver a powerhouse solo or an entire evening of entertainment. With a vast repertoire in every style and genre (classical, musical theater, pop, rock, country, soul, etc.), and experience with weddings, parties, corporate events and family get-togethers, Ben is prepared to wow both large crowds or small. Ben also works with a professional events band called The Joy Machine, which can be hired out to take care of the entire sonic experience so you don't have to search for instrumentalists. Additionally, Ben is an avid songwriter and can write a theme song or personalized song to perform for a company retreat, lover, family member or friend.
If needed, Ben can rent and supply sound equipment for an additional fee, and is happy to travel long distances as long as travel compensation is provided.
Ben Caron learned strong professional values while growing up in Iowa, where he began performing as a vocal soloist at a very young age. His Midwestern upbringing taught him to value punctuality, professionalism, honesty and a positive attitude. After extensive experience in musical theater, choruses, show choir and jazz choir in high school, Ben went on to study vocal performance and theater at California State University, Los Angeles, where he expanded into the genres of rock, soul and pop through different professional opportunities. That's also where Ben began emceeing and hosting events, creating within him an ease and comfort on stage that has proved invaluable since. After graduation, Ben began working professionally as a songwriter, singer, emcee and band leader all over Los Angeles, having performed at almost every major music venue in LA, as well as many weddings and private events. He loves working with clients to create the perfect music moment and is happy to experiment and play in order to give the client exactly what they're looking for from a vocalist.
Preferentially, lighting, staging and sound equipment would be provided by the client. BUT, Ben has access to vendors/rental companies, and for an additional fee, would be willing to take care of your technical needs for you.
If the client is providing the technical equipment, all Ben needs is a microphone and amplification.
Also, as Ben is a vocalist and not an instrumentalist, client will have to either hire an instrumentalist of their choice to accompany, or Ben can hire an instrumentalist for the client. Ben has access to all of Los Angeles's best instrumentalists, and works regularly with an events band called The Joy Machine which is experienced in live events entertainment of all types.
