Billy has been Laughlin's #1 entertainer for 3 years. He performs intimate classic rock & country.
His forte is crowd participation. He'll get folks dancing in the aisles, and he can have every head turn during ballads. He excels at making everyone in the room feel special, and encourages anyone to step up to the mic and be a star!
He doesn't do "background Muzak", as his goal is to have each person have an experience they want to talk about and see again.
Billy has performed at every venue, casino and every major event in the tri-state area. He is professional, has his own gear, and has 2 decades experience.

I like to open with "Give a Little Bit" by Supertramp. Usually everyone is singing along by the 2nd line! Plus, I get to see who the non-shy singers in the crowd are. I play a lot of songs that people love that usually aren't played by a solo guitarist: "Crocodile Rock" by Elton John where everyone sings the na-na-na-na parts. We have fun when I say things like "Just the ladies" or "Just the folks with no singing ability at all!" Two "safe songs" like Ticket to Ride by The Beatles and "Proud Mary", always followed by a ringer - a song everyone knows and loves, but forgot they did: Smokin' in the Boys Room, Over the Rainbow, etc. I do classic country (Your Cheatin Heart) and today's hits (Need You Now). Of course the act varied depending on the crowd, but everyone always has a great and memorable time. My dad played guitar at our endless family gatherings, and while he "shined" when it was his turn, he let all the party guests take a shot at singing and gave them each a chance to shine. I do the same thing.
Billy has been playing music since the age of five. He was the most downloaded person in his hometown of Las Vegas, he left South Carolina in the #1 spot, and is currently #1 on Reverbnation for Mid-Tenn. He currently plays regularly in Clifton, Waynesboro, Linden and Hohewold. A natural comic, his banter between songs is what sets him apart. He's not afraid to follow someone into the bathroom so they don't miss the song he's playing :) He also enjoys tossing in songs that everyone knows - and loves - but have never heard live before (If I Only Had a Brain from The Wizard of Oz). Jaws drop when he sings a love song, and he can also call up his "raspy voice" and do great covers of Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, etc.
I play one hour sets, which are actually 45-minutes as I need to have a 15 minute break in-between sets
