Our dj has been in the business for over 6 years with a degree in theater from what of the top theater schools in the country. If there is one thing BLAST ENTERTAINMENT does, it's perform. Dj Experience
DJ (also known as DJ ONE WAY) is currently the resident dj at the Field House in Iowa City andhas been djing for over 6 years in many different venues all over Iowa. DJ ONE WAY started playing small house parties in high school at the age of 16. He soon started playing at many different bars in the area including Bushwood, Martinis, Scorz, Gabes, and The Blue Moose. DJ has also djed many different corporate and fundraiser events like: The Zach Johnson Foundation Fundraiser, The V Foundation, The A.G.C Convention, The Asphalt Pavers Convention, and The Limestone Association Convention. DJ's love of music new and old has allowed him entertain audiences of all ages throughout the night.

Personal History
Douglas (DJ ) Dorrington
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, DJ has lived in Linn County his whole life. DJ attended Xavier High School and graduated in 2009. He went on to Cornell College where he graduated with a degree in Theater in the summer of 2013. DJ's degree in theater revolves around stage management, playwrighting, and set design. Along with being a dj, DJ, has worked as a professional comedian and as a bartender for 2 years.

If you are more then an hours drive away from Cedar Rapids we will require a hotel for the night and an additional fee for gas. Exceptions are sometimes made for this rule but that is rare. No we don't require to be put up in a 5 star place but some form of hotel will be needed.
