Blu Pi

So often we relate the color Blue with sadness but this Blu Pi band left me feeling good and happy!!! The female sax was a nice touch!

I am a music producer and I see talented people all the time, this year for my birthday my staff went outside of our own artists to bring in another band so that our people could relax and enjoy the party without having to play or sing music. This was very risky for them because they know I'm very picky about performers. The moment this band showed up I started looking for reasons to never do this again. Here is a list of 10 things they did that completely changed my views on hiring bands.

1) They showed up an one hour in a half early for sound check and set up.
2) They were dressed nice with no sagging paints or inappropriate attire.
3) They were well spoken, polite and approachable.
4) They asked if there were any last minute changes they should know about? In this case there was and they quickly adapted.
5) The vocals was absolutely amazing and the band is one of the best I've heard in a long time! Very solid.
6) They interacted with the crowd.
7) The music selection was a nice mix of new and old school.
8) They stayed after for pictures.
9) I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism.
10) All of this came with smiles and fun at a low, cost.

I will definitely book them again. Thanks guys.

I used to think that the best things are the most expensive things. That way of thinking has been dismissed the moment I heard this band live. I was at a jazz spot in Cleveland and I noticed the local news coming through the door. I was wondering what was going on and then they came out on stage and opened up with a song by Jill Scott. They were amazing! Everyone was standing up and feeling the music. The singer voice put everyone in a musical trance and she had our attention. They played a few songs and no one ever sat down. I was planing a bachelors party for my best friend and I knew he would love this band. The band told me to go to Gig Salad to book them and hear their music so I did and they sent me a quote. I was expected to pay a fortune but when I seen the quote I felt as if I was ripping them off. They said many people are about the money but they are about the music... That meant a lot and they won my business and respect. (I made sure everyone tipped them very well). My brother and best friend was so happy with the band that he joined their fan club lol Thank you all

This band is amazing! I hired them for my white party and they were just what my party needed! 3 fine young men all dressed in white had all the ladies sweating! I thought I would have to call the fire department lol. Blu Pi has become my favorite band in cleveland! You guys did an excellent job and I wish you all the very best!

This band is killing everything out there! I hired them to play for my sister's 21st birthday party and they had the people up on their feet all night! I was really impressed because they were so cheap compared to the other bands on here. But they did their thang! I am booking them again no doubt!

All I have to say is this band of amazing musicians are incredible! I originally wanted a vocalist to sing with the band and found out that they were musicians only. They told me how they could make some calls and let me tell you, the guy they got to sing was amazing! I felt like I was in the presence of some superstar celebrity! This band is going to go far! Book them and you will not regret it! Thanks guys.

After being on TV, radio and magazines, if you live near Cleveland you know just how good this band is but what you may not know is the sweet and humble spirit they all have; its like its part of their DNA. This likable trait is what really lured me in from day one. They are young business men who are well mannered with an adorable articulate speech. The event was wonderful and I'm still getting calls from my colleagues requesting their info. So let me personally say thank you to you all for providing some great music and for setting a great example to the young people in the audience.

I hired this band for our corporate christmas party last year and they did such a good job, everyone requested them for our corporate anniversary party as well. Though I didn't think it was possible, they managed to do even better this year! Its amazing at how good they sound for such a young band. Very polite and professional.

Hey guys! If you are looking for a really, really, REALLY GOOD wedding band, stop your searching on Gig Salad and book Blu Pi NOW! My wife and I was searching for ever all over looking for a wedding band that was professional but also affordable. Most bands on average wanted $4000-$6500 which I'm sure is justified but we are college grads, who just got a house, car and tons of school debt. We decided to go with Blu Pi because they were the most affordable and we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best.
The first thing we notice was the high level of maturity and professionalism that isn't expected from a bunch of college students.
The second thing we notice was how business oriented they were. They supplied us with easy to read contracts. A clear and direct manifest of events and setlist as well as a website to their personal page that offered their music and videos.
That gave us some comfort because they sounded good but nothing could have prepared us for the wedding day.
The band came on with a grand entrance that caught the attention of everyone in the room. I have never seem anything like it! They were amazing! Every song was my favorite and by the end of the night they had already given out all of their business cards lol I could go on and on but I just wanted to say thank you again Blu Pi for making my night special :)

Blu Pi made my wedding unforgettable from start to end! I dont remember his name but when the keybordest played the Alica Keys song - If I Dont Have You, I could not stop crying, it was so beautiful and appropriate. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful talent as I married the man of my dreams. It was PERFECT!

Just want to thank you guys again for helping with the banquet with such a late notice, I must admit I had my doubts that you guys could be ready in 3 days so I was clearly impressed by the professionalism and energy you guys had. The VP really liked you guys and said you are one of the best bands he have ever heard and he has seen some great acts. He also gave the ok to book you again, so we will be contacting you soon for our christmas party and I will be sure to give you more than 3 days to prepare lol.
