All seasoned professionals, with over two centuries of combined musical experience, Blues Channel will play music from the past, music with a beat you can dance to, music with heart and soul. Blues Channel's 'core' of three founding members are all capable of performing as Master of Ceremonies, making announcements, and engaging the audience as appropriate to the venue.
Blues Channel has been playing in the Los Angeles / So Cal region since 1999. Once a 'regular' opening act at the now defunct BB King's Hollywood at Universal City Walk, the band has experience playing festivals, art shows, hotels, dinner dances, picnics, night clubs and everything in between. Often described as 'not your typical blues band', Blues Channel brings variety to their music, with elements from the big band era, the lounge era, and early rock and roll; the Chicago and Memphis influences abound, and with three lead singers and backing vocals, the sounds can vary from stark to lush.
