We always arrive early (1.5-2 hours) to set-up and test all equipment and PA. We start and stop on time as agreed upon in most contracts. We are not a loud band! (Been there, done that already!) In fact at some clubs we start out with what we call a Dinner Set, as most of the folks are eating. We play low enough during this Set that dinners can speak to each other without raising their voices.

We try to play what the audiences want. If they want to dance, we will keep them up dancing to lively dance music. Or if we get requests for one or two slow songs, we can do that to. (We even do a slow waltz.) We can also play special songs like Happy Birthday or Auld Lang Syne, or some Christmas songs as well.

We play everything from old rock standards of the 50's and 60's artists like the Band or Aretha Franklin, up to current artists like Adele, Bonnie Raitt, or Susan Tedeschi. We will play the kind of music that gets your feet or hands tapping or get everyone up dancing.

Our band has 5 very experienced musicians in it, and we have all played since the 70's, 80's, and 90's. We have different musical backgrounds that encompass our playing styles, but we are currently and mainly a cover band. Our playing experiences include rock, jazz, country rock, country western, blues, and even opera! (Lead singer Cynthia studied opera in college.)

When possible at larger venues or outdoor concerts, we prefer to have professional lighting and sound. As we are a band we don't need any particular staging, but our lead singer does need some room to move around. Of course at smaller venues we bring our own PA system and we are self sufficient. Just need adequate access to 120VAC power with at least 15 amp breakers. Thanks!
