Bob Bean is a "one man band" acoustic solo musician who has been performing music his entire life. He plays a wide variety of genres from folk to rock and everything in between. He plays songs by James Taylor, Tom Petty, The Eagles and more. Whether you are looking for music for a party or engagement/wedding event, Bob plays the songs that your guests will love!
Bob played a corporate event for us and he was so great! Perfect set list, such a lovely voice and guitar playing.. Absolutely no complaints. So many of the attendees kept saying how wonderful he was. We will ABSOLUTELY be using him at future parties and events!! Thank you, Bob!! (:
Response from Bob Bean Guitar:
Thanks Rochelle! What a great group of people and fun party. The cookout, beer truck, ice cream and face painting were fun for everyone. Happy to have entertained your tenants - great people all!
I read several excellent reviews on Bob before booking him for my wife's birthday party and he did not disappoint! He was a pleasure to work with and put on an outstanding performance. All of our guests RAVED about how great of singer and guitarist he was, played a very diverse setlist of songs we all loved, and could not have been any friendlier and professional. It is also worth noting that he played through the entire party without any breaks. He also drove up from Cape Cod to the North Shore for our party which was highly appreciated. I could not have been happier with our choice and would highly recommend Bob Bean to anyone looking for a very talented musician.
Response from Bob Bean Guitar:
What a great time! It was pretty foggy on the water but the crowd was so much fun. I really enjoyed participating in the surprise and learning some new songs for Andrew's wife (Dave Mathews and Jack Johnson). It is always fun to perform for an enthusiastic group of great people!
My daughter's wedding was a small dinner event and I'm so happy Bob was part of it. He made it extra special with his music by singing songs everyone knew. Guest enjoyed listening and singing along... we all had a great time!
Bob played at my mom's 80th birthday celebration and he was great! The booking was super easy and it made such a big difference at the party to have him play. The ages ranged from 2.5 year old to 80 year old and everything in between and Bob seemed to know how to play to the audience. We had so many compliments about how great the music was and I will absolutely call him again. He was great!
Absolutely outstanding entertainer! Bob had an extensive song list and actually learned two songs that were special to my fiancé and me. He went over and beyond! Thank you Bob for making our wedding so special!!!
I've hired Bob to play at my Christmas party in the Hamptons for the past three years. He plays and sings a great selection of songs, everyone LOVES him and never wants him to stop!
I hope he can continue to play year after year, he's FANTASTIC!
Bob sang at my wedding and he was excellent!! His singing made our day extra special & our guests loved him too! We will definitely use Bob for future events and highly recommend him!
Bob played for our dinner and bar guests on New Years Eve and again after our grand opening. On both occasions he arrived early, set up his equipment quickly and played over two hours of music. Everyone at the restaurant loved the song variety - he engaged the guests and took their requests. We will definitely hire him again!
We had a big family party last week and hired Bob. We had so much fun dancing and singing along. He was interactive and wonderful with the kids. He knew a great variety of songs that appealed to all age groups. He creates a laid-back easy-going atmosphere that is perfect for a party but also knows how to get the crowd going. We will definitely hire him again!

I engage the audience and alter my setlist to adapt to the crowd. If the mood is quiet, classy and subdued, I'll play relaxing James Taylor, Eagles and Elton John tunes; if the energy is high I'll play rocking Bob Seger, Rolling Stones or Tom Petty songs. My objective, each and every time I play is to create an environment where people have a great time listening to songs they know and love and remember the event you planned for years to come!
I grew up in Central Massachusetts with a guitar in my hand. I am an Engineer and Entrepreneur from WPI who loves engineering and music. My latest venture is a wireless, Internet of Things venture to protect valuable items (like guitars) from damage and theft. I love playing music and singing to both small and large audiences. I write my own music and I'm always learning new songs requested for special events and weddings. Music touches my soul ...
I use my Taylor 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars with the latest power amplification and speaker system (Bose L1) that projects sound with incredible fidelity up to audiences as large as 300. The system I use has very low sound fall-off with distance so listeners who are close and listeners who are further way all hear my music as it was meant to be heard. For some songs I use harmonica, harmonizing, looping as well as bass and drum pedals to add fullness to my performances.
