Infectious music, rhythms and unihibited beat is the best way to describe the music that keeps feet and body moving, and heart rate up. And if you haven't already guessed that the music is Z-Y-D-E-C-O, come out and dance to the sounds of Bonne Musique Zydeco. Bonne Musique Zydeco, literally "good zydeco music," is a Los Angeles based, 6-member band specializing in the Creole music of Southwest Louisiana and East Texas. BMZ draws upon the style of traditional Creole and Cajun musicians, and influences of the blues and New Orleans artists of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s to create a blend of music designed for dancing and partying.
Used Bonne Musique for a Red Hat Mardi Gras Celebration Feb 27, 2016. They were 15 on a scale of 10. They were absolutely WONDERFUL. If you're looking to give a fabulous party, bookem!! We are doing it again for 2017 because we got such a great response from our guest, who just loved them, we have booked them already for next year. We had to get a larger venue to hold all those committed to attending next yr. They were the bomb!!!!!!!!!!! They blew the party up. Try them, you'll love them(:) Red Hat Sassy Dolls
The Red Hat Sassy Dolls loved having The Bonne Musique Zydeco Band perform at our Mardi Gras which was the first event we had ever given. The band's great personality came out in their music and in their interaction with our guests. We had a Second Line Parade that was awesome with the band leading the way. Our event was such a huge success we are moving to a larger venue. We have already booked this band for our 2017 Mardi Gras.
Response from Bonne Musique Zydeco:
Thank you so much Sassy Dolls. You're an outstanding group of dancers, finger snappers and gorgeous ladies. You kept the energy going. We are looking forward to 2017.
Bonne Musique Zydeco rocked the Polliwog Park Amphitheater on July 12th.
We had about 5,000 fans just love the show. These guys will be back!
Bonne Musique Zydeco led a rockin’ Skirball Family Amphitheater Performance filled with warmth, high energy, and professionalism. The talented band got both kids and adults up on their feet and dancing! They offered a genuine invitation for audience participation by encouraging families to come up and play zydeco washboards, a definite highlight of the performance. BJ and all of the band members were friendly, accommodating, easy to work with, and their music had an incredible sound. In the future, we hope to have the opportunity to bring them back to the Skirball Cultural Center.
This was the second party I have had this band play for us. Great musicians, very professional and so personable. They get the party rolling and keep it rolling. I recommend them highly.
Two weeks ago Bonne Musique played at a large party at my home. EVERYONE
said it was the best band and the most fun they've had at a house party. They are still talking about it. From my point of view, they were professional, fabulous musicians, on time, great spirit and attitude and I couldn't have asked for more.
I will hire them again and so will my friends. Everyone loves to dance!
This group is professional, together, and most important, super fun! They were terrific at our event, and everyone enjoyed the show!
Bonne Musique Zydeco is the most wonderful entertainment. I have ladies that come from out of state for their performance. Their interaction with the audience is wonderful. These are ladies that jump to their feet to dance to their music.
When you are creating a new fundraising event, lots of things have to go right - you have to make sure you use the venue right, the food and drink have to be plentiful and good, and there has to be some quality entertainment. BONNE MUSIQUE ZYDECO KNOCKED ALL OF OUR SOCKS OFF AT THE LIVING DESERT AND MADE THE FIRST EVER MARDI PAWS MASQUERADE PARTY WORK! There is just no doubt in anyone's mind that this party would not have been a GREAT success without Bonne Musique. They are top-notch performers, engage the audience in ways that are perfect, and they're just easy to work with. Our event was on one of the busiest weekends in the history of the Palm Springs area, and they rolled with every punch of traffic, hotel rooms overbooked, etc., etc. And when it came to the show, they were 200% on board and brought us a live performance that everyone who attended is still talking about. WE LOVE THIS BAND, and we are going to have them back to the desert again and again!
Price Range: $1000 and up
