They showed up about 20 mins late, didn't clear any plates for the first hour or so, and ate our food before doing any work. Apparently our venue coordinator told them they could, but we never approved them taking a break for a 4 hour shift. Eventually, the job got done, but we were not very impressed in the beginning that they were late. They were even supposed to show up 15 mins early (according to the business owner).
Lastly, they lost or threw out all of our heavy duty plastic dinner plates and refuse to take any responsibility or tell us where they put them. We have now lost out on almost $200 of property that we had planned to re-sell, and since they refuse to take accountability, we don't get a refund for these. I would never ever recommend this company, unless you're okay with losing money. Also, as per the screenshot, we requested a detailed contract and got very very few details, nothing specific. So we were not protected at all. And we were expecting to get a written contract that we had to sign, stating everything the servers were in charge of. Never got that. DO NOT BOOK THEM.
My wife and I booked two staff for our wedding. Staff were to be responsible for swapping chafers, bussing, rinsing and managing dishes. Staff were 18 minutes late for there start date, and 33 minutes late if you count B&Bs 15 minutes early to event policy. Traffic was bad, but it's Metro Van on a Saturday, that should be accounted for. After the event we noticed all the dinner plates we bought were missing. Venue staff did not have them (contractually they weren't allowed to thats why we hired extra food-safe certified staff) and our guests had not disposed of them. The people who packed up our stuff to leave the venue never saw them. The only staff who handled them was Boots and Bourbon, yet they refused to acknowledge this or take any responsibility. My wife and I had planned on selling the plates to help in the aftermath of the large financial endeavor that is a wedding. The staff did swap the chafers and bus the dishes effectively.
We were incredibly impressed with Mattvey's service at our wedding. He was calm and professional throughout the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. When things got busier than expected, he quickly arranged for extra help to ensure our guests were well taken care of. Mattvey's attentiveness and responsiveness truly made a difference in making our day special. We highly recommend him for any event!
Mattvey and his fellow staffing partner were incredible! They were available on extremely short notice and completely transformed our event. All our guests were ranting and raving about both of them and the support they provided for our party. We can’t wait to hire them again for all of our events. I can’t imagine doing an event without them now. Mattvey also bartended and made amazing drinks that everyone enjoyed. They were both extremely polite and professional. We were very pleased with Matvey, our bartender. He was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. I felt comfortable leaving him in charge of the bar, and had many compliments from our guests as to his demeanor and professionalism. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for him again.
