Dawn and Kim from Bow Tie were amazing!!! They were on top of every little detail, made sure the bridesmaids and mom of the bride didn’t have to do very much once guests arrived and took care of clean up. The kitchen was SPOTLESS when they left! Also, they had such great suggestions on how to set up the desserts they put out, and just helped make the party even more special. Thank you so much. This is the second time I’ve used Bow Tie and it won’t be the last!!

We had a great experience with Bowtie event staff - they were punctual and incredibly helpful throughout the event. They helped with set up, food preparation & running, restocking the food and beverages, and even stepped in to bartend / refill guest's beverages as they were enjoying the party. Clean up was a breeze and I'm so thankful for their hard work!

We had one of Mayra’s waitstaff come for our party and for a full hour prior to the party starting I had no idea where she was. The waiter came and hung out with the chef and so I mistakenly thought she was one of the cooks. I was even complaining in front of her that I didn’t know where our waitstaff was? I spent a full hour cleaning myself and prepping food with the chef, when in reality Mayra’s waitstaff was right in front of me. She didn’t speak at all, and really didn’t clean or serve people for the duration of the party. I would have to look for her and ask her to help my guests throughout. It was a small party, only 30 people, but I don’t think she could handle it.

I would have liked more communication from Mayra, ie, who I should be expecting to come, what time she would come, etc. when you have an event you don’t want to have to chase after the waitstaff. You want help not a chore.

We recently had a family party with 60+ people. BowTie’s server Ali was promptly on time and catered to all parts of the party. She was always one step ahead of what needed to be done and had a smile on her face the whole time. If you have a party coming up, don’t hesitate. Book BowTie Party! The bartender was absolutely amazing and I received so many compliments from the guests on the bartender. Highly recommend them. We had a great experience in working with the bow tie team. Dajana was our bartender and did a wonderful job working with our guests and organizers once she arrived. We would definitely work with the team again for future events!

We needed to find a bartender and server for our memorial weekend event and turned to gigsalad! Bow Tie waitstaff responded promptly with price and availability. We booked right away and needed to add a Griller last minute. They were so accommodating and we were so happy with Donna, Danielle and Trish. They went above and beyond and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We would definitely use again.

We hired Donna (bartender) and Dani (waitstaff) for my in laws 50th anniversary party at our home. Donna and Dani were amazing and we didn’t have to do a thing. We gave them direction and they executed it flawlessly which left my wife and I with nothing to do except enjoy the party and entertain - it was so worth the money and we’d hire Donna and Dani in a minute for our next large, family event. Thank you for helping make our party and unforgettable celebration of 50 years of marriage!!

The servers are very nice and tried to help. They just did Mt know enough. I have a formal home and needed a level of formality that they did by behave. I also expected them to know how to make coffee. They stacked dishes when remixing them from the table. No. Only one in a hand at the tjme. Also not sure how to serve the cream and sugar. Goes ina tray and they walk around even if jut o e person wants it.

So the personalities were fine. The knowledge lacking.

I could not have asked for a better team for this backyard wedding for 150 people. Mayra even came to help kick off the event, and was steaming linens for me. Great attention to detail. Eddy provided some much-needed help for my daughter‘s first birthday party. he was very attentive and professional. he was eager to help and very friendly to the guests. He went above and beyond The call of duty. I highly recommend him for events and we will definitely use him again for our next party.

We had a small dinner and Xavier was a huge help! We were very happy with his professionalism and efficiency. We hope to get him next time!

From start to finish, we had a very positive experience with BowTie Event Staff. We hired BowTie for an outdoor social distancing Baby Shower with 12 guests. First, the communication during booking, leading up to the event, and during the event was exceptional. During the event, we were impressed that beyond just helping with setup and decorating the tables, they also elevated all the food and drink presentation with beautiful plating and garnishing. This small detail really made a difference for our guests. Lastly, at the events conclusion, they were extremely helpful with the breakdown and organizing. I will definitely be hiring them again for our next event.

Mayra and her team helped us for three nights in a row during a very difficult time. We had 75 people the first night and ~50 each subsequent evening. They helped make the buffet beautiful, transferring everything off of plastic platters on to China, made sure the food was always replenished, dishes were washed, glasses refilled, wine and drinks always stocked, desserts and coffee ready to go. And they left everything spotless each evening. Kind, helpful, and thorough, I honestly don’t know how we would have done it without them. I live in the City and was doing this for family in CT, I may have to have Mayra come and do events for me here! She and her team are simply amazing.

I hired 2 waitstaff for a surprise party I threw for my husband. Mayra was so easy to communicate with and really was wonderful to work with! We had one staff as the bartender and another helped with passing appetizers, setting up the dinner buffet, and preparing the presentation of the dessert buffet. I recommend their services!

We had a family event with 25 guests on Sept. 2 at our home in Weston Ct. The wait staff we generally use were not available and I went online to see who I could find on such short notice in our area. I sent emails to three companies outlining our needs and shortly received a response from Mayra at Bow Tie Waitstaff. A few emails later and a conversation we hired them for our family party.
Mayra and Edison arrived promptly on the day of our BBQ and after a brief conversation of duties they rolled up their sleeves and went to work. They started by setting up tables, putting out lawn chairs, icing drinks, prepared platters and oversaw warming hot dishes and even did the BBQing !
When the food was ready they served our guests and several of them mentioned how attentive the staff was. Best of all they anticipated our guests needs for refills and removing finished plates.
When cleanup time came they put everything back in its place
and even cleaned the grill ! We are so satisfied with them that we will be hiring them again for a Rosh Hashanah dinner party in our new York city home in October.
