Can’t say enough good things about this band. Excellent communication, catered to our playlist (and learned a song for our party), showed up early - and most importantly - they sounded phenomenal. Our entire party was blown away by the performance. Great group of musicians - money well spent!

The Brass Monkeys were AMAZING!!! I cannot stress that enough. My husband and I wanted a 2nd line parade for our wedding and not only was communication prompt, cordial, and thorough, but they were on time, and really were the best part of our festivities. They made our entire party. It was so hot out but they played their hearts out as we danced up Harlem. Please don’t hesitate to book them!!

I hired Brass Monkeys for my son's music themed 4th birthday and they did a great job from beginning to end. Communication was clear and friendly and they even learned how to play a song I requested that wasn't already part of their repertoire. They arrived exactly on time and the kids and adults had a blast dancing to the music. They then lead the kids in a march around the playground to When the Saints Go Marching In as the kids played along with instruments from the party. Everyone had an absolute blast and I would definitely hire again and highly recommend that you do too!

We can do 5 piece band, 7 piece, and with a singer if requested!

Born out of a shared love for brass band traditions and a passion for contemporary music, Brass Monkeys was formed by a group of dedicated musicians who call the diverse neighborhoods of New York City their home. We're united by the belief that music has the power to bring people together, and we've made it our mission to do just that—every time we step onto the stage.
