Brewer's Mushrooms

I learned the art of mushroom cultivation from Paul Stamets when I went out to Washington State in March of 2007 to one of his in-depth workshops. I learned tissue culture, spawn generation techniques, substrate preparation, inoculation techniques, and strategies for maximizing yields. I went back in June of 2007 to a two day intensive workshop that discussed the current practices, evaluation of strategies, and choice of the appropriate fungal candidates for Mycorestoration.

I opened Brewer's Mushrooms in 2008 and grew a variety of Oyster Mushrooms, Shiitakes, Lions Mane, King Oysters and other gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.
Since then, I have helped dozens of new start-up mushroom farms and lectured all over the United States teaching and lecturing at Universities, Colleges, Master Gardeners club etc. mushroom farming.
