Freelancing in New Orleans, NYC, and FL, I have been playing the viola for over 25 years, and love sharing the art with others! For services, solo playing is available, as well as whatever the occasion calls for. A small chamber group, such as duo, trio, quartet, etc, can be arranged as needed. Services are available for weddings, banquets, receptions, any religious services, in-home gatherings, etc. Contracts are negotiated as needed, and finalized in advance before the event. I'm here to answer any questions, and hope to enhance your event, whether it's pop/rock or classical, and with professional and distinguished musicianship!
Online lessons available for violin and viola!
Brianne was fantastic for our event!!! It was a proposal for my now FIance in Central Park and Brianne was immensely helpful not only planning for what songs to play, but also for suggestions for areas in Central Park to propose. She went above and beyond to guide us about the planning and was able to play all the songs we needed beautifully! Looking forward to working with her again for lessons and for future events :)
Response from Brianne Lugo:
It was a pleasure to work with you and your family, and congratulations on a fun and successful engagement!

An example: For weddings, it is pre-arranged if there are any specific requests for ceremonial music, aka bridal processional and recessional. Prelude music is available, as well as cocktail hour and even reception!
An example: Background music for an private, corporate, or social gathering is available. I have played trio music for entertaining guests as they arrive and depart at a local hospital for invited benefactors, mostly to add to the atmosphere. Most recently, I've had the pleasure of performing for a "grand opening" of a local community fridge, standing next to a bus stop in NYC. Nothing like it.
If your event is in a larger space, or perhaps outdoors, I have inputs and microphones that I can bring with me. I also have access to amplifiers which can be brought if needed for an additional fee.
Depending on your occasion, whatever you are looking for can be arranged! Any specific song requests can be arranged (possibly for an additional fee)- Van Halen's "Jump" was a fun one for an outgoing bride and groom.
I will always be punctual, and dressed for the occasion. Being prepared and making sure that my services are exactly what you are expecting and then some is always a priority.
All safety precautions against Covid-19 are taken very seriously- I do not have any issues with wearing a mask while playing.

Ample lighting is preferred, although it is common to use a tablet/iPad.
If in a chamber group, armless chairs are necessary.
Will bring our own music stands.
If amplification is needed available at the venue, pick-ups or DPA mics can be brought, although phantom power will be needed for those. Small amps can be brought for an additional fee.
In an outdoor setting, a space heater will be needed under 63 degrees F, and shade/cover must be provided for musicians. If the weather is nice, under a tree works just as well!
