We play a wide variety of music and our three core members play piano, accordion, violin, tablas, sitar/guitar, recorder, flute, and vocals.
For wedding ceremonies and cocktail hour you have the option of a two or three piece ensemble performing classical, standards, jazz, pop, and any music that you request.
We have a world music program where we perform originals, Klezmer, Balkan, middle eastern, latin, celtic, russian, and other music.
Our music will help make your wedding, party , function, or corporate event a success.
FREEANA
Freeana is a Boston, MA based vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and improviser whose music comes from a very deep, passionate, soulful place. Her music is timeless and she has combined ancient qualities into a refreshing new sound. It has been described as, “uplifting,” eloquent,” “unique,” and “healing” to many audiences.
Freeana has performed and delighted audiences all over the Boston and New England areas including Kripalu Center and Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, playing solo performances as well as collaborating with other musicians in different styles and genres. She has been playing music in some form or another for 43 years with the last 30 years devoted to her own musical compositions and improvisations.
A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, she majored in viola performance and minored in saxophone. She was a member of the Rochester Philharmonic while still a student and toured with them, playing at various venues including Carnegie Hall.
RON HERTZ
A graduate of Boston University, Ron has extensive and varied experience performing and teaching music. His eclectic musical interests include jazz, classical, folk, country, latin, ethnic and world music ( eastern and western European, Indian, and Klezmer, etc). He has performed as a solo pianist and solo accordionist, and as a member of a wide variety of musical groups. He has performed as a cocktail pianist, and as a pianist and accordionist on cruise ships and at folk festivals. He has played with big bands, contra bands, show bands, and jazz, swing, rock and Klezmer bands. Ron is also an experienced studio musician.
DANIEL DALINIAN
A multi-instrumentalist and performance artist, Daniel began formal violin training at university with Bill Starnes of National Symphony in Washington DC and began a professional career with CBS at Media Sound studio in New York City. He is an International recording artist whose most recent projects with with Nagbansi featuring Nandhal Nayak of Ranchi India (vocalist/composer) ACM records , Hands Rhythm Project of Tokyo Japan (International Children's Festival Seattle) and Dromos featuring DJ Fraction Paris France Infine' Records (Mutek festival Montreal )
