This young woman is no stranger to the stage. Singing before speaking and hitting the stage at age 2, Brittany has always lit up a show with her presence and dynamic soprano voice. Tackling everything from Broadway, to Opera, to Country, to Gospel, Brittany’s vocal prowess shows versatility and ease in any genre. Besides her love for the arts and music, Brittany is also very involved in her community. She served as a representative for the Pre-Teen America Scholarship and Recognition Program as a state titleholder for Arizona in 1996 and 1999. She has also helped charities such as the March of Dimes, sung the National Anthem for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and at her local Community Food Bank and other generous charities. Brittany believes in fostering talent in the next generation, and giving opportunities to kids interested in the performing arts to learn the basics of music, acting, and dancing. She has co-directed, choreographed, and done make-up for 10 Broadway Jr. Productions at her elementary alma mater, with children from the 3rd to 6th grades. Brittany has sung and performed in many choral concerts, revues, and musicals in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. Her favorite vocal solos include singing the PIE JESU solo in the Faure Requiem twice, once her Senior year of high school, and in 2008 in the Pima Community College choir’s rendition of the movement, “At Last” by Etta James, and “Stars and the Moon” from Songs for a New World. Her favorite Theatre and Musical Theatre roles include The Tin Man (The Wizard of Oz), Ruth Sherwood (Wonderful Town), Chorus/Sadoko’s Mother – Vocals (A Thousand Cranes), Germaine (Picasso at the Lapin Agile), Vi Moore (Footloose), and Chorus (Violet) at venues such as Flowing Wells High School, Pima Community College and The University of Arizona. With over 10 years of private vocal instruction, Brittany has been lucky to have had many professors and tutors hone her technique. She has also had over 15 years of choral instruction with numerous directors, conductors, and guest professors. Brittany has studied voice for the past 8 years with world renowned vocal therapist and instructor, the late Mr. Roland Wyatt, the vocal coach behind THE MANHATTAN TRANSFER, FRANKI VALLI, and BARBARA MANDRELL, and has studied with many noted professors in music, drama, dance, and voice. Throughout all she’s done and learned, Brittany has always held onto the belief that Walt Disney so eloquently shared: “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them."
Please have a clear space set aside for myself and sound equipment if that has also been requested.
