I like the people that listen to my music to experience the music, the lyrics and the emotions of the song the way I do when I sing. I try to convey emotion in every song. I like to look for signs of someone singing along or tapping their feet. Smiles and laughter are great. Occasional tears if the song moves them that way. Each song is different, and I never sing the same song the same way twice.

My father gave me first guitar when I was 10 years old which was an electric solid body.
However, I was more interested in playing folk and ballads so kept sneaking off with his classical nylon stringed guitar. That Christmas Santa brought me a 12 string Ovation and I’ve been playing a mix of soft rock, country, oldies, and writing my own songs ever since. I own several Ovations but now prefer the mellow wood tones produced by my Taylor guitars. I consider myself more of a singer than a guitar player.
Music is my passion, it has never been my career or real full time job. I’m afraid that if it was I would lose some of the joy that I have in being able to perform and sing when and where I do.
