Calista Archer

Calista loves to bring her deep connection to the history of bellydance and her sultry, well trained moves to her gigs. She specializes in a fusion of classical Egyptian style and American Tribal Style, with influences from many genres of dance, including latin dance, turkish, hip hop, and modern. She includes the use of props, such as veil, silk fans, palm torches, sword, and much more. When you book with Calista, you are enhancing your event with high end entertainment and sensual, exotic beauty.

Calista has been enjoying the sensual art of Belly Dance, and the rich culture that comes with it, since childhood. At the age of 8, her mother began performing for events as a solo artist, and dancing with a troupe. Calista tagged along to rehearsals, classes, and performances, and picked up the dance naturally. She has been performing as a professional Belly Dancer since 2012 at festivals, events, private parties, and shows around the greater Texas area.

Unless she is traveling far distances for performances, Calista can provide her own sound set up and dj.
Calista needs about a 10x10 dance floor space for her main performance, at minimum. Other performances, such as interactive roving performance, can be negotiated. Must schedule a rough performance time in advance.
Performance fee does not include travel costs.
For performance trips beyond 100 miles distance, Calista requires an additional fee for lodging accommodations.
