"Calling Rio" is a Bossa Nova/Samba/Jazz group based in San Diego, CA. Our playlist includes Jobim, Gilberto, Sergio Mendes, classic jazz and contemporary Brazilian and American songs. We are a 4-5 piece band and can also perform as a duo for more intimate settings.
"Calling Rio's" combination of cool, layed back jazzy Brazilian beach vibe, uptempo street samba, swinging American classics and smoky ballads will be a perfect fit for your event!
