CRJE is a growing group of jazz musicians from the Chicagoland area. Booking us doesn't just mean have us playing at your event or wedding. It means being there for you for whatever your needs may be!
I hired CRJE for my wedding and they were fantastic - a great group of musicians (each musician even came up to us to say how beautiful our wedding was). My wedding was almost 2 months ago and I am still hearing compliments on the band - and how they appreciated it not being like every other wedding. I hired about 11 musicians for my wedding, but I understand they have a total of about 30 members. They worked with my budget and gave me exactly what I wanted. I was able to 'audition' the band as before we hired them - which made me feel more at ease (sometimes I was a bridezilla). My husband and I also picked out the songs we wanted them to play from their master list, and they even learnt new songs just for us! We went with a singer that does Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin/etc. - he was amazing and it really added to our old Hollywood theme! - The band is great for this! The last hour we had a blues singer because my husband loves the blues - and she is apart of the blues hall of fame! She even sang the Hokey Pokey for us! I can talk all day about how amazing they were – and I hope to hire them again! Surprisingly they are affordable and are very comparable to DJ. The live band was such a special treat for my guests - they couldn't get over it! It was like a dinner and a show! The band leader - Andy was very professional and helped out so much!
