Should expect to have fun, jam and dance to the music I will be performing for them. I like to engage with the audience, whether it is singing a cover that they might be able to sing along to, or connecting with them through an original song I've written.
My name is Catalina Gonzalez and I am 20 year-old singer/songwriter residing in the area of New Haven, CT. Born and raised in Santiago, I began singing when I was 5 years old and when I was 12, I started songwriting and perfecting my vocal training and now I'm here studying Music and Sound Recording at UNH while working to become a touring artist.
I have developed a great connection with music lovers and friends through social networking by releasing covers of popular and classic songs. Starting a segment called "Song Sundays" where people could send their request really got me out there. I have also released 2 EPs: "Old Soul, New Voice" and "Game Of Words". Just recently released the single off of my latest EP, "Roadrunner", which is due sometime in early 2014. Lots of more projects are in store so keep an eye out for those!
I come prepared with the instruments and respective cables but wherever I'll be performing has to has a PA/sound system. Because I am a solo artist I do not own a PA system, so that would have to be provided by the client.
