I bring energetic authentic samba dance entertainment, live instrumentation, and crowd engagement for 15 - 30 minute shows for those who REALLY love samba no pé!
My performance has a strong dance presentation that comes from over ten years of studying and living in Brazil, as well as being a passista (school's samba dancer) for some of the most prominent schools in Rio de Janeiro & São Paulo.
I offer a genuine CARNAVAL experience and I dress the part!
I also belong to the LGBTQAI+ community! Representation is a MUST!
Watching Cheetah is mesmerizing. A graceful, strong dancer versed in many dance forms. We especially love the samba, as Cheetah is an improvisation master with impeccable musicality. An entertainer extraordinaire!

5-7 songs performed in which there is an intro and slow song with the following songs increasing in energy to a peak, leaving off to crowd interaction!
Songs will vary in samba style fusing Brazilian funk, some samba afro & samba reggae to maintain crowd interest.
I will be wearing show/sambista/passista clothing and or a carnival costume for the entire show. Usually includes feathers as a back and/or headpiece, but not always.
Set to fit client's desires/needs.
In addition to my entertainment I offer live Brazilian tamborim playing (a pertinent percussive instrument in Brazilian samba), as well as fuse Brazilian funk, some samba afro & samba reggae.
Original to the City of Angels. Have lived and traveled the world, but specifically attracted to South America. Lived on and off in Brazil since 2013. Love Brazilian funk and samba. Also love reggaeton (Panamanian invention).
Dancing has been apart of my life since childhood. Caribbean, Latin, and indigenous descent!
Paraded in Brazilian carnival about 4-5 times, and participated in special group and A-listed schools and did passista show work in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Some of the schools include Salguiero, Beija-flor, São Clemente, Rocinha, Império da Tijuca, and last but never least Pérola Negra.
Currently and always training samba no pé and studying the depth of the culture, offer private classes, occasionally teach group classes, and do performances and workshops.
Sound technician will always get the cues before stage time i.e. when to start the music, song order, volume, etc.
I will bring the music on a flashdrive, and/or can email to the appropriate party in advance.
No cords or wires in performance area to ensure safety and health.
Secure children and pets, to ensure no disruptions that could lead to physical harm from dance movements.
Always changing depending on the current year and latest songs
