The Charleston bagpiper led us from the church to the graveside for my husband’s funeral. He played our favorite, “Highland Cathedral,” to the grave and “Amazing Grace” at the end of the internment. It was very meaningful and well-done.

Peter came to my house to pipe-in a group of guys over for a charity scotch whisky night. He was the "surprise" element of the evening and got thing off to a great start. Peter arrived early and ready to go. He played beautifully and was an easy presence with my guests. The sound of live bagpipes is a wonderful way to start any Sottish-themed evening and certainly got everyone's attention.

If I ever do this again I will be calling Peter for a repeat performance.

It was just perfect to look out on the lawn across from the church and there was a Bagpiper playing. The guests loved it. Then when the bride and groom came out of the church through the sword arches and he is playing the song they chose, the look on everyone's face said it all. It was BEAUTIFUL!. What an elegant touch.

Everything was perfect

Peter arrived on time (even though we were a little late getting started) he maintained a professional attitude and played splendidly! We let him choose the songs as he knew more about it then we did, and he chose excellent songs for our celtic Handfasting Ceremony. We handled the financial aspect of the contract without any issue, and he even allowed me to pay him cash at the ceremony. Thanks so much Peter for adding that special traditional touch. We loved it.

Peter Armstrong played for my birthday this year, just as he did 10 years ago. He is great and a lot of fun. We agreed to do this again, but we won't wait 10 years!

At the request of the family, I hired a bagpiper for a memorial service. The piper arrived 30 minutes early in order to clarify specifics. He was respectful of the event and played beautifully.

We surprised all of our guest with a bagpiper when I walked down the aisle. It was unexpected and turned out perfectly. He was very accommodating and warmed up outside of hearing range from our guest before the ceremony. Very professional and was the perfect, well dressed addition to our evening!

Peter Armstrong was nothing less than a pleasure to work with for playing bagpipes as a surprise during my toast at my best friends' wedding in Charleston, SC. Not only was he flexible, open to any of my ideas and seemed genuinely excited, his actual bagpiping skills are stellar (and I listened to a lot on YouTube and have seen in Scotland, etc). This was a Scotch/Irish wedding and the response was the same from friends and family. Peter was always quick to respond to me and frankly put up with my high anxiety as I wanted this surprise to be "perfect" and he put up with me like a champ! I would recommend him without reserve for any event and any length of hire. He played two tunes for us and I thought his rate was quite reasonable given his skill/level of performance and ease to work with-not only that-the memory he gave was priceless. Everyone loved it-especially the bride and groom and that's worth it all in itself. Thank you, Peter!

Peter Armstrong did an outstanding job in playing for a funeral service for my wife at Beaufort National Cemetery. We had spoken when the engagement was made and I had asked only for Amazing Grace at the end of the religious ceremony. Later, the priest suggested a song prior to the ceremony. I asked Peter 30 minutes prior if he could do this. He performed both beautifully.

Peter was wonderful, professional and an amazing piper... He played as our guests arrived and added a special touch to our event. It was not a long assignment but he put his all into it and his music was very well performed and much appreciated. Definitely good for an encore one day and I recommend him highly.
