Charly Kay is a NYC based vocalist and actress with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry.
Yet again, Charly Kay performed a heartfelt rendition of a classic song amazingly!
Charly surprised my wife with the gift of her voice and flair for our third wedding anniversary. She was accommodating and right on time!! I would recommend her talents to anyone and everyone looking for something special to someone special anytime!! Thanks Charly!
Charly was wonderful! Her voice is R&B smooth. It's sultry, but please do not sleep, she can go to church on a lyric with a quick switch! I would book her again in a song beat! She sang: "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye to Yesterday" for a coworker who was leaving, and she sang it Acappella! Book Charly if you're ever in need of an unexpected surprise gift, you will not be disappointed.

As a seasoned veteran of the performing arts industry, I can guarantee you a vocal performance you will not forget or regret.
Charly Kay is a singer/actor/dancer with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Hailing from Denver, this third-generation performer got her start at the age of 3 on her mother Sheryl Renee's local television program; The Lovey Secure Safety Show. From there, she spent her childhood and adolescence being prepped for her destiny.
Once in high school, Charly really became dedicated to and immersed in the performing arts. She was a member of Denver East High School's honor choir, as well as the award-winning acapella ensemble; The Angelaires. She was a prominent member of the drama department (performing in several productions of plays and musicals), culminating with the lead role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl her senior year. She was also a prominent member of her school's speech and debate team. She earned several awards and championships in competitions at Harvard University, Princeton University, et al. for her performances in duo interpretation and dramatic interpretation, respectively. This culminated in her and her speech partner winning 2nd Place overall at the National Forensics League's National Speech and Debate Competition in 2011.
Later that year, Charly decided to move to the land of her dreams to pursue her career further and she has been an active member of New York City's performing arts community ever since. She started out doing background work in television (Law & Order: SVU, The 2-2, Blue Bloods) and the film Now You See Me. Her first vocal performance experience in NYC came in 2012 singing backup for winner of Ru Paul's Drag Race (S1), BeBe Zahara Benet, and her show CREATURE.
Since then, Charly has appeared as Martha Reeves in Theatre Three's production of "Motown Live!" She has appeared as a principle actor on TBS' Search Party and Amazon's feature film, The Only Living Boy in New York City. She has performed with several bands, performance groups and live music projects including: Nancy Atlas and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), The Rakiem Walker Project, Maybe Monday and Minor Issues.
She currently performs with The Love Rival Orchestra, Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution, The New York Belles, High and Mighty Brass Band, Kinky Spigot and the Welders, Live Music Pros and Creme de la Creme.
A songwriter and alternative r&b/pop recording artist as well, Charly's debut EP is slated for 2021 release.
I am available for both virtual and in-person performances.
For in-person performances, I have additional protections for you, your family, friends or guests due to Covid-19.
