A Texas native, Chip Darby spent the last 3 years playing shows all across southeast Texas. Darby's love for traditional country, blues,& Southern rock are played well by his band, known as Vintage Soul. Darby has been chosen to be mentored and olays alongside some of the most talented & well-known local musicians in Texas. The Texas Country Music Association awarded Darby with their Artist Scholarship Award in 2023. Darby's single, Where the creek flows, is out on all platforms and is just one of many talented songs he has written and produced. Keep your eyes on this one! He's going places!

As a southeast Texan native, Chip Darby spent the last 3 years playing acoustic shows all across southeast Texas. Darby's love for traditional country, blues,& Southern rock music inspired him to form a full band, known as Vintage Soul, in early 2023. After a few months, Darby received commitments from some of the most talented & well-known local musicians in Texas. Chip is a highly accomplished vocalist who demonstrates exceptional vocal versatility across a wide range of genres but his singing is foreshadowed by his phenomenal blues guitar playing. At the age of 19, Darby dedicated his time to songwriting, performing, & practicing 8 hours each day on the guitar. Chip Darby has just begun his musical legacy & has his sights on being the biggest artist to come out of southeast Texas since Clay Walker, Tracy Byrd, and Mark Chestnutt, just to name a few. The TMCA (Texas Country Music Association), has invited Darby as a special guest in November 2023.
