Christian Snedeker

You can expect a passionate, driven, and hardworking musician who loves to spread joy and happiness through music!

Christian is an Orlando based percussionist, currently in his last year of earning his Bachelor’s in Percussion Performance from the University of Central Florida. Born into a musical family, he began his musical studies at an early age in Southwest Florida under a melange of accomplished percussionists and musicians. His teachers include Dr. Thad Anderson, Kirk Gay, Jeff Moore, John Evans, Jim Dallas, Lori Lyons, and Dan Miller, as well additional lessons from Joe McCarthy, Brian Jordan, and Clarence Penn. His teachers have praised his work ethic and dedication and have described him as having “unlimited potential in the music industry.”

Christian is a regularly-booked freelance musician in the Orlando area, and is currently a Percussion Instructor at Horizon High School in Winter Garden. In his young career, Christian is honored to have shared the stage with artists such as Grace Kelly, Michael Cavanaugh, Dan Miller, Lew Delgatto, Chuck Findley, and Jay Miah, and you can see him during the holiday season with the Walt Disney World Orchestra during the Candlelight Processional show in Epcot. He has performed with organizations such as The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in the drumset chair with companies such as New Generation Theatrical, TheaterUCF, and Theater West End. He leads and performs with the 239 Quartet, a jazz collective that performs in Orlando and state-wide.
