Christina Forrester

Christina Forrester grew up singing and playing music in church and writing songs as young as 8 years old. She got her first drum set at the age of 5 and was playing live at age 8. She started playing keyboard and leading songs at her church at 12 years old and is still leading praise and worship. She began writing and developing her own music and sound as a teenager and has continued to write and record. She spent 7 years singing and playing keys, drums and bass in a country, pop, standards and rock-a-billy band Crossroads and Yesterday, a Beatles cover band started by her dad, David Forrester, guitarist, pastor and songwriter.

During her year in Nashville she had the opportunity to study song writing with one of the greatest writers of all time, Reba Rambo, and is now finishing work on her first 5-song album, due out in October, 2015. She cites her influences as various, including 80's pop and rock, 90's country, everything Reba, and social justice songs with a message. She loves to write and make music that people can relate to, is fun and amusing, healing or brings out important social and spiritual messages.
