Configurations of my band are available from 2 person (voice + piano or guitar) to 4 person (cocktail hour or reception ready: voice + piano, bass, drums) to the expanded version with horns - 6 people: voice +piano, bass, drums + 2 horns.

I offer a seemless jazz/vintage-tinged performance of jazz standards and pop classics, with some of the best players in the Chicago area.

Powerful lyric delivery, wonderful instrumental solos and a seem-less, hassle-free performance can be expected.

Jazz vocalist Christine Hannan has often been called a musician's musician. As a jazz vocalist, her deep alto voice is both warm and reedy at the same time, able to caress a lyric or swing with power and sass. Christine's horn-like and daring approach to jazz improvisation recalls the sounds of modern jazz vocalists Betty Carter and Mark Murphy, and her confident and stylish lyric delivery has echoes of Ella Fitzgerald and Diana Krall. From exciting original arrangements of the Great American Songbook to original takes on pop classics, her jazz band is sure to add sophistication and sass to any event. She currently is freelancing in Chicago.
