You may expect refined and beautiful non-religious music. I will be playing selections ranging from Elizabethan through the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods to light classics and modern compositions. You may also expect a polished and well-presented program.
Harry George Pellegrin (b. 1957) has played solo recitals locally at The Kitty Carlisle Theater, The Saratoga City Center, The Linda Norris Auditorium, The Troy Music Hall, The Racing Museum and the Museum of Dance, Emerson Auditorium and the Nott Chapel at Union College. He is a graduate of The Mannes College of Music in Manhattan, studied classical guitar with Albert Valdes-Blain and Eliot Fisk and has performed in master classes with Benjamin Verdery, John Duarte and David Russell. He taught and performed in the New York City area from 1978 to 1993, at which point he relocated to the Capital District where he resumed teaching. His Capital Area debut took place in 2007 at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. He played there again in 2008 and 2014. Pellegrin teaches classical guitar at Union College and privately and performs dozens of corporate events, gallery openings and Saratoga track season cocktail parties each year. He has recorded and released two albums of solo guitar music available through iTunes and CDBaby with a third in post-production. Please search me online. Tons of videos and audio clips.
