My name is Bernard Brown

I was born in Northwest Ohio, started to play the drums at the early age of 5. I come from a working class family my father a demolition contractor my mother an accomplished & inspiring play wright and a major influence to my music and a motivator to me as young drummer. Music was often the dominating influence in my early years as a teen being exposed to artists to Jimi Hendrix & Buddy Miles, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Chic Chorea, Stanley Clarke Billy Cobham and the likes. Old school R&B was predominate influence as well. I can play all of it! I have been playing now for more than 35 years. I have written songs and also have various contemporary jazz compositions. I often study the technique and dynamics of drumming often trying to take my talent to the next level. Looking forward to collaborate and perform with other musicians and look forward to a long relationship recording of my music and others.
