We are currently on hiatus from performing and not accepting bookings. When we do play, we are a three-piece jazz band playing and singing classic swinging tunes from the 1920s through the 40s. Sinatra-esque. Songs by Gershwin, Ellington, Cole Porter, and more. A unique line-up featuring a euphonium playing solos and bass lines, guitar/singer, and drums. We play at private parties, commercial venues, and anywhere toe-tapping vintage jazz is needed.
We hired Cool Porter for my sister’s wedding reception in Traverse City. From the start they were extremely professional and responsive. They were also extremely accommodating, and were able to play for an hour outside at the cocktail hour, then move all of their equipment inside to play during dinner. Their song selections were fantastic, and their skill was outstanding. All of the wedding guests kept raving about how much they loved the live jazz. It was such a special touch to the evening and we a so grateful to Cool Porter!
