We are able to provide a wide variety of genres for all venues and events and will customize our repertoire based on your preference.

From the day we book Counseled and Composed they were amazing. They kept in contact along the way and made sure the day was exactly what we wanted. They sent videos of songs we asked them to learn and even learned the Buffalo Bills shout sing for us. Not only are they talented, but they are genuine people. It was a joy to have them be a part of our special day.
This duo sang very well stuck to the genre I requested and kept everyone entertained appropriately thru out the event. Even strumming their guitars during silly games when we required attention to be on certain areas of the party. They were perfect!

From the moment we reached out to C&C we knew they were the right fit for our wedding day. They were organized and responsive and worked within our schedule and budget. The were flexible in meeting up with us and open to hearing our vision and ideas. They bought an extra level of creativity to our wedding. They went un noticed setting up and backing down, they were so professional. So many people commented after the wedding at how talented they were and how perfect their music sounded. No prior experience with Gig Salad and hiring an acoustic duet with no reviews was a bit of a risk on my part I must admit. I wanted for my guests to enjoy live music at the cocktail hour and Counseled and Composed looked like exactly what I was looking for. A nice young couple with a guitar who enjoyed music, not so much the money, and that could sign with feeling and purity. Also, my budget was also very tight so I couldn't hire a "wedding singer buff" with an "elevated wedding price tag".
We hired Counseled and Composed, met them for coffee and gave them a selection of some popular wedding songs we liked such as Christina Perry "A Thousand Years" and Labrinth "Beneath Your Beautiful" to name a few and gave them a few months to practice.
The results couldn't have been any better. This amazing duo composed of Elisa and Brian were the talk of the wedding. They performed 14 lovely songs as well as our first dance song and they they performed them adding their artistic touch which made it even more impressing.
Folks watched, signed and enjoy every word they sang and at the end of their performance people would asked me where I found them. Brian and Elisa are super talented and I promise they will give your event elegance, touch and character. They are great performers but also the coolest couple you could meet. Look no more, they are real deal.

Counseled and Composed, formed in the spring of 2014 by Brian Halliley and Elisa Aven, is an acoustic duo located in sunny South Florida. Their influences include The Weepies, The Civil Wars, Amos Lee, Paul Simon, Head and the Heart, Brandy Carlisle, James Taylor, and The Staves. Brian and Elisa are both board certified music therapists with degrees in music therapy from Nazareth University and Florida State University respectively. Brian and Elisa met in April, 2013 when Elisa was hired as a music therapist at Hospice of Palm Beach County, where Brian was already employed himself. Less than two months later, Brian and Elisa recognized their unique and harmonious bled, not only musically, but romantically as well. They are currently working on both covers and new material.
