Most people give in to their limitations. They cut themselves short, they give into fear, and don’t achieve the career success they should have. As someone who, in spite of becoming a quadriplegic in 1997 as the result of a motorcycle accident, I’ve raised my children as a single parent, became the number one wheelchair rugby player in NYC, launched a comedy career on National TV, and learned that the only limitations are the ones you set for yourself. Let me bring your company or organization true laughter and teach them rise above adversity, and achieve freedom from fear.

Damon wreaked an entire audience ranging in age from 19-80! His delivery from the music he chose to come on stage to, to his exit was amazing!!!! He draws you in, keeps you in & have you beggin for more! Love him!!!

Damon performed a comedy set for my mother's surprise 70th birthday party and it was simply hilarious. My family can be a huge critic when it comes to comedy and Damon had to take on the task of revitalizing my guests after a previously dry set from another performer. Well, he did the trick. He quieted a mumbling crowd of 100 + and gained everyone's attention. He not only had me and my guests laughing, he had us fully engaged. The amazing part about it is how he was able to pridefully incorporate his disability into his act. The best part was randomly glancing at my mother's face and seeing her busting with laughter. It was awesome and had me wishing I would have hired Damon for a full hour. We will definitely be doing business again. Thanks Damon :)
Damon was the ultimate professional. During his negotiation process he was very reasonable. He explained his fees and managed to work within my budget. On the day of the event he arrived an hour before our agreed time. His performance can not be described in words or matched by another person. His videos are great but seeing him in person is inspirational and stomach wrenching hilarious. His talent is far beyond the price he charges and definitely worth it. My event had children present and he kept it clean the whole time and even made the kids laugh. I will be booking him again and recommend him to be booked for any event looking to add spice.

After his motorcycle accident in 1997 Damon Rozier has lived his life based on two mottos; the first is "Laughter is the KEY to Life" and the second is "don't let anyone judge you" and all his audiences will leave understanding why these sayings are so powerful and meaningful to him. After numerous shows in a variety of settings one of the most consistent lines he hears immediately following a show is "you are hilarious and so inspirational". Each person who watches Damon perform will gain a greater admiration for life itself and the blessings GOD has blessed them with.
My name is Damon Rozier and I have been blessed to bring laughter, joy, smiles and happiness in to the hearts and lives of thousands of people over the past 10 years. I was born and raised in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY, one of America’s toughest neighborhoods, It was here I gained the tough skin needed to succeed doing comedy. I was in a devastating motor cycle accident in 1997, breaking my neck in two places and leaving me chest down paralyzed. After spending countless hours watching comedy shows and never seeing a person in wheel chair performing I decided I would break that barrier and enter the world of “stand-up comedy”. By developing my own unique brand of “sit-down” comedy I have brought laughter in to the worlds of millions while educating them on the wheel chair life style. I've reached diverse audiences and continue to overcome challenges in the entertainment world.
In addition to the comedy I have been blessed to do motivational speaking. Many people get inspired by the fact that I do comedy and I am in a wheel chair but that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am the captain of the professional NY Warriors. This is the local rugby team and we compete al across the country. In my 16 years of playing rugby I have won multiple tournament M.V.P. Awards in addition to helping lead my team to the National Tournament in 2010. I also teach a sit aerobics class at the St. Johns Recreation Center in Brooklyn, NY. I have been blessed to push and finish in 9 NYC/ING Marathons.
While these are all great accomplishments, my biggest and proudest accomplishment has been being able to raise my 2 handsome sons. They are my pride and joy. They were only 1, and 2 years old when I was in my accident and have never known me to walk but still we have a great father and son relationship. Since they were infants I promised myself I would never let them view me as handicapped. I coached their little league baseball team, attend all their bowling meets and got them involved in swimming and basketball at early ages to keep them busy when they are not attending school. My oldest son, Damon Jr., graduated High School in 2013 and his brother Dashaun will graduates in June 2014. They are both tremendous bowlers with averages in the 180's. Every summer I take them on a vacation that they can appreciate and share with their friends. Over the years we have gone to Lake George, Six Flags, Dave & Busters, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Gran Turks and St. Thomas.
