I am a professional jazz guitarist, adaptable for any occasion. I draw from a vast repertoire of jazz and pop standards to satisfy casual listeners and aficianados alike. Styles include eloquent ballads, up-tempo swing tunes, soulful blues selections, and smooth latin and pop arrangements. For the past year and a half, I have performed weekly at Cedric's restaurant on the Biltmore Estate. I can provide enthusiastic references from special events, private parties, and weddings. My goal, foremost, is to make each event enjoyable and memorable, and to fulfill any and all requests. Thank you for your time.
Communication with Dan was exceptional from the first message I sent him. He was always quick to answer questions and adapt to any changes that were made to our wedding time and set up. Originally we asked about having only him play for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but he suggested that we have him play for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then have his Jazz Trio (bass player, guitarist, and drummer) play for the reception. We thought that sounded like a good idea, and were very pleased with how it turned out. Dan was exceptional as a solo guitarist and chose music that really matched the event. When the trio played for the wedding reception it really livened up the room. Not only that, but they seemed to have a lot of fun together, which made the event even more of a success. I would highly recommend Dan as well as his trio to play at your event. The level of communication and professionalism is a bonus to the fantastic entertainment that they provide. Great chemistry!
Dan was awesome!!!! Couldn't asked for anyone better in making our occasion very memorable.
Response from Dan Keller:
Thank you, Gigi. It was my pleasure. Best wishes to both of you!

Virtuoisic solo guitar playing from a wide range of styles highlighting the excitment and intricacies of jazz music, with classical and pop influences.
As a teenager, I began studying composition, theory, and improvisation privately and in school music programs. In High School, i began studying with UNCA (University of North Carolina at Asheville) professor Marc Yaxley. After a year of private lessons, I began performing with Yaxley as his rhythm guitarist. I credit the most beneficial aspect of my education to be the countless “on the job” experiences I gained while working initially with Yaxley and later top-notch musicians throughout the U.S. including Bill Berg (drummer on Bob Dylan's album "Blood on Tracks"), Bradford Gee (Church Organist and Choir Director for St. James Episcopal in Hendersonville, NC), and many others.
