Dance with Lia provides professional dance coaching for the beginner students who are interested in learning first steps in ballroom dance. Gentlemen’s will be also instructed how to lead their partner through each step.
Latin dances/Salsa/ChaCha/Merengue/Bachata/Rumba/Swing!
Smooth dances/Waltz/Tango/Argentine tango/Foxtrot!
Styling and technique are introduced for more advanced students.

Get ready for a dance session with a great mood, smile and comfortable shoes with leather soles which will make smoother and easier your dance experience.
Gentlemen will be instructed how to lead their partner through each step or combinations. Ladies will be directed how to follow. To facilitate learning, the instructor will practice the dance with each student. Style and technique will be introduced and encouraged later in each session. In every other dance lesson the teacher will cover two different styles of dance, both of your choice, one standard dance and one Latin dance.
Do I have to have a partner? It is best to have a partner, but if not, come on anyway, if you wish it, is it not requirement.
Lia is a Professional Ballroom dancer with a unique talent, passion, and understanding of Latin movements combined with a touch of sensuality and powerful energy. She began her study of ballroom dance with some of the best ballroom dance instructors from her country of Romania at the Dance Studio, Codreanca. She has participated in several international dance competitions and has received several honors at these competitions. First place in Ballroom Dance and second place in International Latin Dance at the European Association of Romania Dance Sport competition. She also, participated at the European Championship of Modern Dance in Finland. Lia was a top instructor for 4 years at Arthur Murray dance studio in Manhattan. Now she continues to teach independently at Dance with Lia Company. She offers private instruction and coaching of Ballroom dance. She specializes in teaching beginner students who are interested in learning first steps in ballroom dance. Styling and technique are introduced for more advanced students.
