We hired Daniel for our company event in December. We had some mixed reviews. Before the show was great, but then we had a wedding proposal during his introduction and it seemed to throw off the show. After the marriage proposal, I just don't think anyone wanted a magic show. People didn't connect to the show and it seemed to throw off the magician. He continued on, and delivered his final message at the end and that is when he finally reconnected. In his message he shared his story, he related it to everyone in the room and let them know that they aren't alone. It's a message that everyone needs to hear and completely makes up for everything else that happened in the show.
I could tell that it was a great show, it was just an unfortunate circumstance. I look forward to seeing his show again. I still remember what he said to all of us. Don't be a stranger, be true to yourself, don't let the urgent things get in the way of the important things, and remember we are all in this together. He got a standing ovation and everyone was on their feet.

Thank You Cynthia! It was a challenging show for sure, however we have made changes to make sure that it doesn't happen again. We will provide even more instructions on the importance of the introduction, and if it gets interrupted for something as wonderful as an engagement, instead of continuing on we will take a 10-minute break to allow everyone to say congratulations and let the room settle. Thank you for the kind words about the message, ultimately that message is what you had me there for, so I'm glad despite the challenges with the show, the message was impactful.
