Dapper Dave and Ragtime Robbie present so much more than you'd expect in a music show.

Dave & Rob are both full-time family entertainers and have more than 35 years' experience each entertaining people of all ages. Their show features multiple instruments including guitar, banjo and ukulele. They perform hits that will get your toes a tapping with songs from the 1920's right up to the 1980's. There's even some magic, comedy, and some unique surprises thrown in.

As we’ve both been in the entertainment industry virtually our entire lives, we can also help you out with larger events and arrange for you anything from face painters and balloon artists to magicians and other variety entertainers. Dapper Dave & Ragtime Robbie is Dave Lew (aka D Jay the Entertainer) and Rob Power (aka Malibu Bob the Party Guy). Both of us have been Family Entertainers for over 35 years.

Dave has graduated from: The Toronto School of Drama, Seneca College School of Television Production, Leah Posluns Theatre School, Seneca College School of Clowning and the Ed Myers School of Magic.

Dave has played guitar and sang with folk and rock groups at coffee houses in the Greater Toronto area and has performed a musical tour overseas. As D Jay the Entertainer, Dave has appeared on shows such as: The D. J. Demers Show, Urban Legends, Million Dollar Neighborhood, Toronto’s Got Talent, Planet Parent, TVO Kids and Breakfast TV.

Dave stands alone as the only Toronto area Family Entertainer to be voted one of the best for 13 years in a row. With over 8,000 performances as a clown, magician, musician and balloon artist, Dave is often asked to be a judge at entertainment conventions including the prestigious Shrine Clown Convention.

Dave is also a past multi time President and honorary life time member of TCA Family Entertainers, past V.P. of Clowns Canada and past Treasurer of The Hat & Rabbit Magic Club. He has also written and published 2 books on magic as well as invented magic illusions used by entertainers worldwide.

Rob started his career as a full-time magician. His skills now include music, juggling, ballooning, stilt walking, face painting, fire-eating, and many other skills.

Rob has been a headlining magician for Carnival Cruise and Epirotiki Cruise Lines. Rob has spent many summers at both Ontario Place and the CNE and has had several runs as Dumbledore or Merlin at Casa Loma.

He was a headliner for 15 years at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Clubs. Before Covid, Rob was performing 8 shows a day at the CN Tower.

Rob is a multi-time Past President and an honorary lifetime member of TCA Family Entertainers and a past President of The Hat & Rabbit Magic Club.
