Suspended high in the air, Davangie aerial artists mix passion with extraordinary strength, elegance, and sometimes even humor to inspire audiences everywhere. Enjoy the imaginative choreography as they fly, spin, wrap, and free fall on a smooth, shimmering piece of fabric, without a safety harness or net. An aerial performer knows that death is only as far as the limits of their own sheer physical strength. This is the beautiful yet dangerous art of the aerialist.
Aerialists perhaps more than any others, represent the magic of performance entertainment, where lines of reality and fantasy become blurred.

Acro
Hold on to the edge of your seat as you behold an amazing acrobatic dance with a breath taking combination of strength, balance, and trust. Not just a performance but an inspiring expression of true love displayed through acrobatic feats.

Kung fu
A high level performance with a wonderful story layout and professional martial artists. The fusion of acrobatic dance with Chinese martial arts makes this performance unique and spectacular.

Davangie Performance Arts was founded through the passion and dedication of husband and wife team Angela and David Saucedo. The multi talented duo specialize in performing awe inspiring aerial duets, amazing acrobatic dance, and fantastic kungfu feats.
They also teach aerial silks, acrobatics, kung fu, and parkour.

Angela Saucedo 水
A health and fitness enthusiast, Angela began her career as a personal trainer finding joy in helping others reach their health and fitness goals. When she discovered aerial dance through her sweetheart David, she found playing on the silks to be a great way to get the body in amazing shape while engaging the mind and delighting the spirit and so incorporated this beautiful moving art into her personal training. Her husband also introduced her to the ancient art of kung fu. They trained traditional Shaolin style in China together for a time and now train with the Hawaii Wushu Center. She and her husband perform at family friendly events and shows such as the Moscow International Circus, the Modern American Circus, The Flying Maltese Family Circus, & Aloha Live. They also are affiliated with The Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe, and Hawaii Parkour.

David Saucedo 火
An all around natural athlete and highly talented performer. David now trains with the Hawaii Wushu Center but he began his training as a child with Shaolin style Kung Fu. He practiced for many years and progressed so rapidly he was soon asked to assist with teaching. After continuing his training and teaching in China he was introduced to Parkour, training with Texas Parkour (and now Hawaii Parkour.) While living in Mexico as a teenager he was introduced to circus arts, excelling in aerial arts, russian swing, acrobatics, and going on to perform these talents among others with various circuses in Vegas, Guam, Saudi Arabia, and around the islands of Hawaii. While living in Hawaii he enhanced his acrobatic partner skills training and performing duo acro with the Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe. He has performed with The Moscow International Circus, The Modern American Circus, The Flying Maltese Family Circus, Aloha Live, Shriners Traveling Circus, Cirque Hawaii and more. A "Jack-of-all-trades" he soon masters any skill he sets his mind too.

Please send us the performance area stats such as floor dimensions, and ceiling height and we will do our best to choreograph the performance to fit.

Aerial requirements vary greatly depending on what apparatus will be used. Generally speaking, a minimum height of 12 ft is needed, though 18 ft or higher is ideal.

Acrobatic and kung fu performances can be more dynamic and exciting the more floor space is available. Generally a 10x10 foot performance area is required but 25x25 or more is ideal.

A site visit well in advance of the event may be necessary.
