If you are looking for a bass player that has all the chops for all the genres and takes the time to learn the songs (he's also great on the fly when you play a new one he hasn't heard before), check with David Carroll first. He's in the pocket from load in to load out. Besides his unparalleled musicianship, he's a top notch pro~ on time, in tune, great attitude and invested in whoever he's playing with. He's worth way more than he'll ever charge you for what he adds to the music and to your peace of mind when it comes to juggling the moving parts of an ensemble. He's rock solid....country solid, folk solid, americana solid, cover solid, original solid. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
