With timeless vocals reminiscent of greats like Natalie Cole and Nancy Wilson, passion is the hallmark of extraordinary vocalist Delilah.

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Beata inherited her gift of music from her parents, who immersed her in performing from an early age. By the age of 10, she was singing and dancing with her family in a 20-member touring ensemble with one of Hungary's noted Roma performers, Bongo Margit, throughout Europe. By the time she was 16, she and her older brother Paul Lakatos, a guitar virtuoso, were performing with violinist Sonny Walker, another Roma legend, who jammed regularly with her father and family at impromptu gatherings in her home. Unfortunately, the joy of music was overshadowed by politics and in order to escape racial tension in Hungary, Beata's family moved to Toronto, Canada in 1998. Never one to be without a song, this beautiful singer had earned a reputation as a professional songstress in the Toronto area by the age of 19. She has continued to pursue her dream of sharing her music with a worldwide audience ever since.
Currently,Beata is choosing new music and making plans for her next album. The chance to work on these four songs with Jim Peterik was been an incredible adventure for this artist. "It has been an amazing opportunity to work with one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Jim Peterik! His songs are so alive and ring true to my heart. The melodies and the sentiment of the songs are one with my soul. Thanks, Jim, for having the faith to let me sing and bring life to your incredible masterpieces. Your kind support and encouragement let me be myself and truly represent who I am as an artist," said Beata. Beata is also grateful for all of those that have shared her journey, "I would also like to thank all the musicians and engineers who made this possible. I especially thank my son, Jason , who laid down the amazing drum tracks. I love you more than words can explain and your incredible musicality brought new light to these songs," she said.
