¡Latin Party Music!
Caribbean, Brazilian and American rhythms fused with catchy melodies. After 4 years traveling, touring and learning the languages of Caribbean and Brazilian musicians in Colombia, Brazil and Argentina, singer Bronson Tennis mixes his American roots with Afro-Latino rhythms to inspire an undeniably fun North/South American dance party.
Salsa, Son Cubano, Bossa Nova, Samba, Merengue, Bolero, Champeta, Soca, Reggae, Cha Cha! They also play more traditional pop music if more familiar sounds are desired (Beatles, Jack Johnson, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley).
¡Sí! Will provide quality sound system if necessary :)
From the first contact with the coordinator, Danielle, to the moment Bronson walked into our "living room", the experience with De Tierra Caliente was wonderful! Bronson was polite and professional, as was the rest of the band. They were all fun and friendly. I hired them for a special event at the Hotel Monaco and they fit right in with our funky decor and easygoing guests. Awesome energy!! We received so many compliments from guests and employees alike on how great the band was. There were even dancers! They helped create a special lasting memory for our guests, and I can't wait to invite the band back!
Today, De Tierra Caliente came to our school for a benefit concert. The band was engaging, fun and our middle schoolers really enjoyed the concert. I would highly recommend this band to anyone. They sang in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The price was affordable and we had our students and teachers dancing in the pit. Wonderful--Fantástico!

Expect professionalism, punctuality and most of all FUN when you book us for your party!
De Tierra Caliente, which means "from hot land," delivers the sabor (flavor), spice and alegra of warm-weather Latin-American countries to audiences in the Northeastern US, where formidable winters and nose-to-the-grindstone work ethics sometimes overshadow simple pleasures like sharing a meal with friends or going out dancing.
They bridge the gap between "boricua" (Puerto Rican) and "gringo" communities, as Bronson is joined by Puerto Rican percussionist and Philly Salsa icon, Edwin "Papo Buda" Rosado, who for decades has performed with local groups such as the Latin Playboys and Saboricua and has even appeared with the world-renowned Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. At their show you can't help but WARM UP as upbeat songs in Spanish, English and Portuguese sing out the bright colors and familial heat of a South American kitchen.
Gracias for checking us out! And,
S! Will provide quality sound system if necessary :) These bi/trilingual musicians pride themselves on always managing a tasteful volume despite having multipercussions.
