Denver Bagpiper

Randy was a big hit. We surprised my mom on mother's day. She is still talking about the wonderful gift of a bagpiper. Randy was on time and very accommodating. He gave us history lessons on the songs as well as the bagpipes. We will be using Randy again.

Randy was wonderful to work with. He did a wonderful job playing all the right Irish music. He also provided great guidance on when to play during the service and what songs. This was extremely helpful as we had never hosted a Celebration of life before. Would definitely recommend Randy!

Very agreeable to play specific songs!

Could not have dreamed of a better performance! Randy played a lot guests arrived. Then he marched up the main isle playing "Amazing Grace". But he really blew us away when we were were leaving to go downstairs to the reception he played "The Outlander" theme song!! That was Mom's favorite show, not a dry eye to be found. I can't thank you enough Randy you were more than I could have hoped for!!!!

Randall was easy to work with and he took the time to go over what songs and types of things I wanted played for my retirement ceremony. Everyone thought it was great having him there and truly loved hearing him play

Randy was great! Friendly, fun & played beautifully!

Unfortunately, Randy didn't adhere to the timeline - he was to play during the cocktail party and he played over and while the end of the ceremony music was playing.
He then tripped, and felt discombobulated and left after one song. He did stop to take a picture with the bride and groom, so I believe he felt just fine, but we truly hope he is okay, he left just frustrated for tripping.

Really great performance. I liked that he knew way around Scotland and history. My Dad and guest lived every bit of it. Thanks again.

Randy was exactly what our Kirkin needed….punctual, legible, approachable and an excellent musician.

Randy and and Justin (snare drummer) arrived on time and were very cordial. Many of my guests had not heard the pipes in person, and all were very impressed, as Bob specifically requested pipes for his Celebration. I am grateful to have met that wish for Bob. Sincere thanks to Randy and Justin. 💝

Randy went the extra mile in playing a variety of Scottish songs. He was on time, played on approach to the house, gave a history lesson on the bagpipes and did a Q and A. A few of our guests had never experienced a live performance from a bagpiper. It was a terrific compliment to my husband’s birthday.

Randy was great! On time, personable, flexible and played a wonderful rendition of Amazing Grace!

We were disappointed with a few things. Amazing Grace which is a staple song especially for a memorial was not played the entire way through. He played about 10 seconds (of AG) that rolled into another song that ended up being more upbeat...it didn’t flow that well and not what we asked for. After the first break one of our guests came up to thank the bagpiper but Randy ignored him which I thought was uncalled for and rude. I think Randy thought the man was a homeless/transient. The man wanted to give compliments and share a story but he was ignored and that didn’t sit well with me or the family. This was a very expensive 15 minute play.

Randy is a delight to work with tied to planning a catholic celebration of life to song choices. Personable and professional. I would book him again! - Kat

Randy was amazing! He was so kind and patient throughout our gathering preparations. He created an amazing memory leading our graduate in to a private graduation and played a beautiful set of songs to begin our ceremony. We could not have been more pleased and were so thankful for his expertise and generosity.

Randy did well, given that it was a pretty cold morning. He was willing to drive a pretty far way on a very early morning and came ready to play and we appreciated that. Very skilled musician. However, he just packed up and left after about 15 minutes of playing because it was cold. Given that he was in the front of a 25 person ceremony, it changed the mood significantly. We expected it to be chilly so I'm not sure what could've been done differently in preparing

My son had always talked about having a bagpiper play at his wedding. He may have been joking but has always liked the bagpipes. So we surprised him at his wedding. He loved it! The bagpiper came early and played and looked great. Just the thing we wanted. We highly recommend the Denver Bagpiper.

The Denver Bagpiper showed up early, was prepared and was friendly. He played for an hour as scheduled and everyone enjoyed the music.

We booked Randy for a very last minute surprise for my dad's 75th birthday. He was delighted by Randy's piping. Randy followed our directions to ensure the surprise worked, showed up on time, was friendly and played his bagpipe all the way back to his car! We were very happy.

Randy was absolutely awesome. We were able to book him really last minute to help make my dad's birthday party special. Everyone loved it!! The surprise was awesome, he was easy to coordinate with and really reliable. I highly recommend!

Really added to the event

I hired Denver Bag Piper for a performance for an educational event for our school. He showed up on time, delivered a beautiful performance with bag pipes and was very professional. I will tell other people about this and when in need of this type of performance. I will hire him.

Played Danny Boy and Amazing Grace at my Grandfathers Memorial Service, both songs were out of tune and he didn't even complete Danny Boy. Said his bagpipe was out of tune. Told me this only happened once before. We hired him for a service and he told me he would be honored to be apart of my Grandfathers service. Should of just had the funeral home play a nice recorded version of the bagpipes. Didn't let it ruin the beautiful service to honor my Grandpa, but I hope this Never happens at anyone else's special occasion! He never apologized once, just said he was embarrassed and he was very defensive.

Randy did a fabulous job! He was on time and played our requests beautifully. We plan on hiring him for our next graduation party.

Also, It was very easy using Gig Salad.
