The band is laden with throwback influences, faithful replications, and generic conformity, but there’s a sense of raging urgency—a distinctly contemporary urgency—that refuses such easy classification. The group’s influences are easy to pinpoint—Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins et al.—but the group also recalls Freddie King, Bo Diddley, Link Wray and 50's rockabilly. People will fill the floor with the constant moving and sliding of dancing shoes!
Derek Irving is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Bay Area. He is known for a retro sound rooted in the rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and rockabilly music of the 1950s

The band is professional, we show up on time, perform per contract and we're flexible to meet your needs.
