The strolling magician that we hired from Detroit Circus was awesome! He engaged with each of our guests, which consisted of both adults and children, and they loved his illusions! He also dressed in themed attire that was perfect for our Gatsby inspired party. We will definitely use Detrout Circus again!

We work with this company frequently and are always satisfied.
The owner is available and invested in your event going well. The talent is out of this world, so professional, friendly and entertaining.
My only complaint is that they were not available this year for our holiday event and the event just wasn't the same without them. Lesson learned, we will book earlier this year.

This was my first time hiring a face painter and twister for an event and I was thoroughly impressed. The Detroit Circus rep was so amazing and listen to my last minute changes of having face painting as well as balloon twisting. She made sure all my guests were happy by completing face painting and going over the hour that I located. She made the kids happy as well, by providing balloon twist in the last 20 to 30 minutes. I have recommended Detroit Circus to all my family and friends that attended and I will definitely be using their services in the future. Their communication and timeliness is on point and not to mention they left no crumbs behind.

We recently contracted the Detroit Circus to do face painting for a 5-year old birthday party. Alexia showed up early and was super sweet and polite. What I wasn’t expecting was the creativity and pure talent. Not only did the kids all get unique free-hand creations, even us adults were jumping into the line. It was awesome. 2 hours was the perfect time to get in about 15ish kids and a few adults. Was extremely happy with the outcome.

What can I say about these performers if 10 being the highest number I would give them a 20!!!!! Professional 20 tasteful 20 original 20 organized 20 their performances dazzled my guest at the reception leaving them to want more what was going to happen next I have received so many emails how they will never forget the performances at my sons reception I have handed out the companies name to everybody who asked for it and also posted a top review at premiere event Facebook . If someone getting a quote for these performers say to themselves. Hmmmm that price seems a little high… Let me tell you firsthand they could’ve charged double and I would’ve paid it after seeing their performance if you want to be the talk of the town for throwing the bus parties in the world you need to hire these performers as soon as you can be exceeded all expectations and blew the minds of all my guest.
On a personal note 20 days prior to my sons reception my nephew Bryant passed away we had to bury him his daughter and his niece who are very young children attended my son‘s reception the entertainers Brought the little girls a little bit on stage and interact it with them with their glowing ones and they’re glowing hoops first time I’ve seen these girls smile and giggle since their father had passed away and they had no idea who those two little girls were that is going up and beyond what Was expected of them I know my nephew in heaven is smiling down on the magnificent Performers For doing that . On a special note I have to give high praise to the lollipop dancers in the pole dancers their bodies were pieces of art flowing through the air and their equipment I can’t wait to hire them all again

Wow, what a great event! Kristin gave glorious performances using both dazzling lights and beautiful fire play - it was so much fun to witness her obvious joy. Nathan fused dynamic jugging with great spectator interaction and the audience clearly had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to see more!

I am the Life Enrichment Director at StoryPoint Chesterfield. We hosted an End of Summer Carnival for our residents and knew we needed The Detroit Circus to attend! Micha was so kind, prompt, detailed and organized during the entire process from giving me info on processes of booking, descriptions of each unique talents we could have, etc. We ended up deciding to have an Aerialist (Danielle) and a Fire Performer (Robert). Danielle arrived early to ensure she had time to set up her rig, chat with me about what to expect with her performance and change into her attire. I was at ease knowing she came prepared with enough time to ensure she would start her performance promptly and wouldn’t be rushing to set up. Her and Robert were beyond respectful, compassionate and very eager to entertain our senior residents. They took into consideration music type due to the crowd being elderly, they were very engaging with our crowd and had tons of fun while doing so. Robert made sure safety with the fire was a top priority and then jumped right in to his routine. While Robert was performing, Danielle made comments to the crowd and pointed out awesome tricks to watch. Our residents were completely fascinated that he was able to juggle fire, dance with it, spin it and that his clothing was fire proof! Danielle also completely blew us away. We couldn’t believe she can bend and flex the way she does! There was a time where she was as straight as a pencil with her nose literally 2 inches from the cement. It was incredible. During her performance, Robert pointed out certain things to the crowd; nose inches from the ground, managing her weight with just 1 hand, ribbons wrapped around her feet, etc. Danielle and Robert work very well together and really respect each other when it comes to who’s “turn” it was to preform. You can truly see they love what they do and love to entertain people. Our residents continue to talk about them and the Carnival often! We cannot wait to have The Detroit Circus come back to our community!

We booked the Detroit Circus for an anniversary celebration for the Broad Art Museum at MSU and it did not disappoint! All the aerialists were so impressive and guests love having something fun and different to engage with at the event. The talent truly abounds and we would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Booking the event was fast and easy. Questions were answered quickly and effectively . The face painter came early to set up. The Kids were happy with the designs.

My church holds services at 4 locations on the same day. We hired Detroit Circus to perform and entertain our children's church at each location. They were phenomenal!! The interaction with the children was great and the performances were top notch. We were so impressed that we decided to use them again for our other 2 locations the following week after booking them.

Having the Detroit Circus preform at our market event was well worth our investment. They provided entertainment and amazing circus entertainment for people of all ages - from kids, to teens to the elders, every single person LOVED watching! The Detroit Circus performers/artists were great at our annual 4th of July/Fireworks event. They interacted for hours at picnics and at staging areas with children and adults alike. The Taylor Conservatory and Botanical Gardens hosted a fundraising party at the beautiful Arnaldo's Banquet Center. We strive to provide a fun atmosphere where our supporters can get to know one another and learn more about our Gardens while raising funds. The Detroit Circus entertainers are always talked about as being a highlight of our events.

We have an outdoor music and entertainment concert series in Chelsea, MI during the summer. Detroit Circus brought a whole new level of entertainment to our kid stage! The kid stage was no longer just for kids. Children and adults were captivated by this performance and we can not wait to have them return to Chelsea!

The performers from the Detroit Circus made our downtown event an undeniable success! We had a street performer, tarot card reader, and caricature artist for our Carnivale event. They were so fun and very professional. They’re definitely good at what they do!

I LOVED working with Detroit Circus! The performers were timely and professional. We had 2 arial artists and one strolling variety performer at our Family Weekend Tailgate. We had Iris at my daughter's 10th birthday celebration!! She is an amazing facepainter, total professional, was there before her time to set up and get ready to paint, was quick- finished atleast 20 kids in an hour.
I was going through the photographs from the birthday party, and I am totally amazed at the face paintings she had done on those little faces. From Hawaian sunsets with palm trees to unicorns, totally in sync with my Hawaiian theme party. She is super talented, the best I had seen in my last 10 years of my daughter's life.

I was contracted to photograph an event, part of which was in a very dark space. The concept was a black light presentation with fluorescent projections and a skater tying the event together with movement.

Keara, the performer was amazingly good with the adults and kids, bringing them into the experience.

We had a handful of performers entertain us at our community event on July 27 and we've never had a bigger crowd sit around a performance area for the entire duration of their performance which was 3 hours long. They were incredibly impressive and well worth the money spent! This is the second time we've used them at this type of event and they did not let us down.

Recently I booked them for a back yard BBQ. I wasn't sure how it would go over thinking their talents might be too big for our small party.
I was wrong. My guests and I loved every minute they were there! The kids were entertained and were even allowed to do some interactive activities with the performers. The adults loved the family friendly show as well.

We had the Detroit circus out for our church volunteer appreciation event. We had a crowd of over 300 and everyone loved it! The performers were amazing! We will definitely have them back! I highly recommend the Detroit Circus!!

We hired the Detroit Circus for our annual Gala. They were always quick to respond- they arrived early and were ready ahead of time. The crowd LOVED them and took a ton of pictures. They were very accommodating and even created custom costumes to match our event!!

Five stars all around! Let's face it, people can be a bore. We didn't want our party goers standing around nibbling shrimp all night. What a yawn! Everyone aged 5 to 55 thoroughly enjoyed the Growth Mindset Assembly the Detroit Circus provided for Huntington Elementary. Josh Wilde was extremely entertaining and kept the kindergartners engaged for 50 minutes - quite impressive if you've ever been around a classroom of 5 year olds :) All the older kids and adults were mesmerized by Anthonys feats of strength and chin balancing. We would definitely book them again.

What can we say, other than DAMNED Exhibition loves, and we mean LOVE, the Detroit Circus. Each and every year they amaze us with their professionalism, and their stunning performances, both in the air and on the ground. Every single member of their troupe is a joy to work with, and watching the crowds go silent during their performances is beautiful. You have to see the Detroit Circus in person to appreciate the experience. I didn't even know they existed until recently, and what a find! We booked Detroit Circus about a year in advance for our event. We kept the performers' presence a secret from our guests, so when they came out on stage to perform their short ~10 minute act on stage immediately following the ceremony, everyone was floored. It was so fun to see the faces of our guests in total amazement. As a true testament to their ability to hold everyone's attention, despite the bar being reopened and cocktail hour food being rolled out, not a SINGLE PERSON left their seat. Afterward, they strolled for about an hour entertaining our guests. Josh and Anthony added so much to our wedding, I am so happy we booked them (at their incredibly affordable hourly rate). It made our whole night so much better. They were also so much fun generally, we now have a great photostrip from our photobooth with them in it which we LOVE. Book these folks immediately.

I opted for Iris’ balloon twisting and face painting. The balloons were nice. Everybody loved the tattoos she made. Very good experience!

We had a clown doing balloon twisting for an hour at my son’s birthday party. The kids loved them and he was able to make balloons for all the kids that were there.

The Detroit Circus performers have been fantastic thus far this Cinema Circus season. All team members have been very engaging with attendees, especially the youth. Our entertainer was flawless! He was on time and even stayed a little longer. He was non stop! I mean NON STOP! He was always smiling and happy and made sure every guest, young and old was having fun. He was so kind and accommodating. I left the party to him and he did an outstanding job. It was an absolute pleasure working with the Detroit Circus! The performers were amazing and Micha made it a breeze to figure out how to stagger the performances so we kept the guests entertained all evening. The silks and the stilt walkers were by far the crowd favorites, but everyone loved the jugglers and the mimes as well. The stilt walkers were on the dance floor with our guests for the majority of the night and had so much fun interacting with guests, posing for photos and keeping the guests smiling and laughing. The aerialists made a huge impact when guests walked in the room and were very much a "wow" moment for the crowd. The mimes were meant to get guests to their seats, which didn't really help much because people kept talking, but they were definitely entertaining. The jugglers added to the circus theme by engaging guests as they arrived. Overall I would absolutely hire the Detroit Circus again and recommend them for other events. The performers were polite and when they weren't entertaining guests, they were asking if they could do anything else to make the event a success which is always appreciated.

Three performers from the Detroit Circus performed for a group of children at our Twilight Fairy Gala. We were happy while booking that they offered special prices for fundraising events. They showed up early, were stage ready, and organized. Both kids and adults founds their acts mesmerizing and unique. I saw a Detroit Flyhouse show and it was really awesome! Juggling, balancing acts, aerial silks, and magic; everything you could want. The costumes were so good, like a rock-n-roll circus! I can't believe the crazy flips and tumbles they would do with the silks. Amazing!

As an aerial arts student at the Detroit Flyhouse, I routinely get to see the Detroit Circus performers who also teach, perform the trapeze, lyra, and silks moves we are learning in class. This alone is so amazing. But it wasn't until I was able to see one of their true performances - in costume - that I fully appreciated what a talented, passionate, and amazing group the Detroit Circus is! Each performer is so unique and brings a special talent to the show. Sara is pure beauty on the aerial silks, and is always choreographing a new move, Kourtney turns her unbelievable strength into striking poses, and Shawn exudes joy from her stilts and has an extra special touch with children. Anthony's balancing and juggling act is simply unbelievable -- and what a treat when Veronica joins him for unmatched acrobatic tricks! And then there's the two Brittanys -- unstoppable, young energy with tricks on the lyra and silks! So fun to watch. But I saved the best for last -- Matt; who I could sit and watch forever. A true artist that never stops developing and sharing his craft and passion!

We hired a clown for my daughter's birthday party that did some performing along with some face painting and balloon twisting. She spent a lot of time with the kids. They all had their faces painted and plenty of balloon animals to go around. All in all, she kept them entertained.

We first hired Detroit Circus for our premier back in 2008 and their astounding talent and incredible professionalism have lured us to hire them every year since. Each year, they greatly top the previous and it has been a wonderful pleasure to see them grow throughout the years, both in talent and the troupe itself. The aerialist performers at The Damned X were phenomenal! Some of the best circus acts I’ve persoanlly ever witnessed. The performers were also very courtesy and friendly.

The man who performed on the cube was like an Aerial god, sent from the heavens. With such poise and strength, he captured my undivided attention for his entire performance.

Interesting humans making interesting shapes, twirling up, down and around on various apparatus makes up the Detroit Circus. Their acts for very well with the Damned show.

The Detroit Circus had a variety of performances at the Dammed Show. The night we were there they did an aerial show with two performers on one apparatus called an atom. It was very cool! They performers were in complete synchronicity. Very cool stuff!!!

Halloween crept up on us and we found ourselves in need of a last minute booking. Micha was quick to reply, available for questions and sent two really excellent performers.

We absolutely loved working with Detroit Circus! We hired three strolling performers and were more than impressed with their skills. We had a very crowded event with a lot of children, and the performers all mingled and navigated the crowd with ease. The stilt walker was amazing to see, the acrobat/balancing act put on a great show and the juggler was great interacting with all the kids, even letting them try to juggle! The prices were great, performers all arrived on time, were efficient, and great to deal with.

Hired Iris face painter for my son's first birthday. Detroit Circus was able to accommodate when we requested that the painter stay extra 1/2 an hr which was great. The kids enjoyed the face painting. I would definitely recommend and book for future events however I have requested that the painter bring balloons but the balloons were not available at the party... however I don't think that there was enough time for that. The painter stayed at our party for an hour and half and some of the kids went for 2 rounds of face painting. Thank you Detroit Circus

Iris came a half hour early to set up. She was great with the kids and did a beautiful job with the face painting. She even had a variety of glitter. The quality of the paint seemed to be better than that at the amusement parks or zoo. My kids have very sensitive skin and no one had any reactions (my son had a reaction from the paint used at Disneyland.). She also did an amazing job with the balloons. She made a special train balloon for my son's Thomas party, using five balloons. We were all impressed. It is almost a week later and he still carries it around with him.

We had the pleasure of seeing the Detroit Circus perform at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak for the Zoo Boo event. Right when we walked in, we saw Matt from the Detroit Circus performing. He was so entertaining that we stopped dead in our tracks to watch him perform! He twisted his body, turned upside down and every which way you can imagine. It was hard to believe this was an actual person! We still can't figure out how he contorts his body like that! Truly amazing! The Zoo Boo is getting better and better each year and this act just added to all the FUN and amazement of the evening! We truly enjoyed watching Matt from the Detroit Circus and the entire event! We put on a huge annual event and the professionals at Detroit Circus made it easy to amaze our audiences. Their staff was so helpful from the start. They helped us figure out logistics for set up and worked with us to make sure costuming and music would be perfect for our family friendly event. The entire evening was magical and people are still talking about it.

We hired a stilt-walker/juggler for strolling entertainment at our Halloween Spooktacular and Detroit Circus sent us Christopher, who did a great job entertaining all ages. He arrived plenty early and was prepared, friendly and professional. We have contracted performers thru Micha from Detroit Circus for the past few years for the Shelby Township Art Fair and have always been very pleased with everything from how the contract is handled to the performances. The tricks done were by-far beyond average and the entire audience (from children to adults) were entertained from beginning to end! From fire, to machetes and bear traps, this was definitely no "safe" normal juggling/magician act... LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I was so impressed by the quality of work done at my daughter's birthday party. The face painter was so friendly and kind. All the children (ages 2-6 yr) felt comfortable enough to get their face or arm decorated, which is huge.

Our group booked the Detroit Circus to perform at our Mardi Gras Jazz Gala in 2016. We wanted something new and different to make our fundraiser special. Micha and the performers were a pleasure to work with and very professional. Our guests were truly amazed and raved about the talent for months after the party. It is a rare feat to achieve Vegas like showmanship in a small local venue. We have already booked the Detroit Circus for our 2017 Mardi Gras party with a whole new program.

The Detroit Circus performers were such a joy to work with! For our event, we hired five performers and they all put on a very engaging stage show with juggling, face balancing, cube spinning, humor, and everything else!

Ania was our face painter and she was amazing! She did such an awesome job with all the kids. Everyone loved her! She was very friendly, kind and patient. If she was unsure on how to do a certain design that a child requested, she didn’t tell the child no, she looked it up and did her best and turned out to be great. The kids were so excited when there was enough time to paint their faces and arms. My husband and I are very happy with the work Ania did and most definitely represented Detroit Circus amazingly! This was the first time that I have seen Sara perform and she was amazing. She had a glow about her and her moves were so fluid that you never were ready for her next one. It is a privilege to watch her in motion and watch her put her passion into it.
